  • Not a vlog, no intrusive faces or talking, pure Japan only.
Shinjuku Underground is the second largest in Japan. I spent almost an hour but still unlikely that I saw even a half.
I was a bit in hurry because I had only one hour.
Map of approximate route (underground ways are pink) www.google.com/maps/d/viewer?...
Filmed in UltraHD 4K 60p with Lumix GH5 camera and Beholder EC1 stabilizer.
Feel free to correct my English or suggest a video to film.

11 years ago, I was standing outside Akihabara JR station when a middleaged japanese man asked me if he could borrow some money for the fare home because he lost his wallet or something. I said sure. He wanted to exchange contact information, I said no, it's ok, just keep the money, I will be leaving Japan soon.
At the end of my vacation I was walking around at this station in Shinjuku, million of people, when I felt a tap on my shoulder; it was the same guy, he smiled said hello and gave me my money back! I will never forget this!!

It's fascinating to watch your videos walking around Tokyo. I like your non-intrusive walks so watchers like me can really feel like walking (without the tiredness!) I feel like walking myself because your videos are so clear and so stable! I have to admit your videos are addicting - I can watch them all day! Looking forward to your walks in other cities.

There are lots of walking channels featuring Japan, but I always come back to this one. I like how Rambalac stops for a bit, and just pans the camera. I feel that adds to the atmosphere a lot. Other channels will walk around but they don't really stop and take in the environment. I think that's why I keep watching.

I understand that many Japanese have a love/hate relationship with this particular station given its size - largest in the world. I mean, no one is really sure how many exits it has. At this point, the most accurate count is just to say that it is more than 200. Whatever, the case, I have been there many times and the fact that it is in constant flux yet still functions efficiently and even pleasantly is a testament to the organic nature of transportation and commerce in Japan.

The Mrs. asks: White seems to be a very popular color for men's shirts,??? what is up with that!!! Is their some kind of Taboo about wearing a colored shirt or a print shirt?? There is very little color with their clothing although Women wear prints just not anything to bright or loud. Also no hats, there must also be some type of taboo about wearing hats, especially indoors. Tokyo is a very big city and I think one of the most exciting and interesting cities on the Planet. It's everything a person could want and not as boring as New York City, Americans do not have interesting cities, just big buildings and that's all. Maybe some shows and little in the area of actual interesting entertainment. Tokyo is so much more and offers endless things to do. However, I just saw a store selling beautiful Geshia (how do you spell that word) clothing. now that's what I am talking about. I love Tokyo and wished I could live there.

Terrible videography, you need to stop panning left and right so much, just a blur to the camera. If you want to pan, stop, pan to focus, then pan back in the direction you are going, then walk again. As fast as you walk, when you pan, it's just a blur in the camera; do you watch the video you took before you upload. Review Nippon Wandering and Tokyo Street view for tips; they're walking videos are excellent.
