It was one of the biggest things for us, we wanted a comfortable living area that was separate from building work. So many couldn't understand why we were putting so much time into the decking and caravan but it has made such a difference. Especially with young children 😊

I wanted to ask you what is the location of that beautiful waterfall. I visit my motherland each year and I would love to see it in 2025. The sofa looks neat - well done. Looks like Alex had a fabulous birthday 🎉 lovely trip to the Arda valley. Did you see the Griffon vultures, also Egyptian vultures at Madzharevo? There's a little cafe over the bridge and a vulture visitor centre, if it's still there. Lovely neighbour. Love the plant name rocks! You're doing great in the garden Kayleigh - can't wait to do ours next season. Some marshmallows would have been great with that fire lol.
Yes there is a lovely visitor center there but Ember was due a nap so we had to miss visiting this time. We will be sure to take some binoculars next time we visit 🙂

The seating turned out SO much better than we had expected ☺️ Plants are doing well, lost a few due to Godzilla Ember sitting on them but other than that they are looking good!🤣 Thank you for your continued support ❤️

Last spring i said exactly the same - ive done all 4 seasons. We aren't lucky enough to be able to live there yet but two years of visiting has been incredible.
The digger driver got it right....bulking up of the soil as dug and then trying to compsct it level would be a real ball ache, as it is it will make for a better job in the end.

He says thank you very much. Such a lovely comment to leave - we appreciate it ❤️ We live in the Haskovo region and have a shop in our village. We are about 20 minutes from the nearest supermarket and even closer to the local city with shops and weekly market.
What i loved seeing how happy alex was on his birthday :) and the very beatifull vieuws you all got to enjoy that day, And Phil my god the moment the digger arrived with the correct one must have been the day you been waiting for along time ;) i can imagine the struggles with the language barrier. And for the retainer wall i mean you have stones enough or not? Would be awesome iff you upped the level and made a diving board on it? haha just an idea but with a big enough stone ontop, u could anker it in. And Kayleigh me as a starting gardener aswel, only tip i know is you learn by just trying.. Tomato plants often need a Roofing tho as the tomato themself dont like raindrops often they will rot on the points that get to wet. For myself this year probably wil be a strugle again, to wet. to much slugs all over its just a nightmare cant grow anything atm :( Love to see you soon Untill next time :)

Yes, we are building a retaining wall so that it will keep the caravan and decking secure. The ground will then be prepared so we can put our swimming pool up - we are NOT building a pool 🫣 it was supposed to be a simple flattened area to pop the pool up in time for Alex's birthday and it just escalated quickly 🫣 The summer has kicked in here so not much chance of rain damaging the tomatoes 🍅

And lucky you with summer haha, we stil mostly have rain only over here in NL. bad weather sadly :( Hope the crops may grow good for you, mine are all eaten moslty by slugs so i keep regrowing in the hopes sometime they can live haha
Another lovely video of your life there. And that canopy over the caravan is really working well. You will have to find a farm to pick up some manure for the plants to thrive in. Cannot wait to see the pool you are building there.
Thanks. The shade over the caravan has made a huge difference to us all and it feels like home. It might look like we are building a pool but we are just flattening the area for the pop up pool we bought last year - we didn't have a flat space for it last year. ☺️

Haha we absolutely will be harvesting the rainwater. We had to leave quite quickly after installing the roof and on our return we quickly had to play the priority shuffle game. Soo many things to do and the priority keeps changing 😀

Yes luckily the patch is right near one of our hose tap junctions so not too far to get water. Cucumbers are interesting - I've got three different varieties so interested to see how they turn out 🥒🍅🌱
The temperatures are starting to hit the 30s as of this weekend we think. We both work remotely, Kayleigh full time. We do the work as and when we can in-between family time.
Happy Birthday,from Plovdiv.Can give you idea-check what ecopond is,if you dont know and use water,from him for plants is verry good,,as hydropontic sistem.I made my pond, by myself,15 cub.meters,180sm. deep,cost me 200 euro,dig a hole,cover with pond isolation,i get my,from Sofia,bauhaus i think was the shop and 20 wat fountain pomp,wich work non stop 5 years now hihi,but you can use vacuum suck water ,with 1 barel and few pipes,fill with pebles for filter and waterfal,put water lilyes,iris and so on inside,flowers and trees aroud pond fishes and river crabs ,Koi if you want and can swim inside and is so beautyfull.Plants clean water very nice.Just use shade place,not in the sun is better and i use stones,from garden,for dekoration hihiAnd where are potatos and beans in the garden :).Healt and happynes,from Plovdiv

Just follow your neighbor's baba advices about tomatoes plants and after two months you will be picking the tastiest tomatoes! :)
