I've purchase 2 Leo Jaymz guitars in the past couple months from Amazon. I'm very happy with both of them. Enough to spend some money on upgrades. However, one of them did arrive in a big box in which there was nothing but the smaller guitar box, which had come open just like yours. Thankfully, the guitar was not damaged. I have since had a new nut made for it, upgraded the pickups and wiring/pots/cap/switch, and it is a fantastic playing and sounding guitar. And quite beautiful to look at. I plan to keep it for a long time.
@@JAL-b4n - Thanks for the comment and hanging out on the channel. That is awesome. I have heard so many good things about the guitars. I am holding out hope that one day that will be my experience. Rock on!
I saw the first video. You had every right to voice your displeasure in that guitar. I just sent a Fojill back myself because it had a printed flame top and bent tone knob. I'm not keeping anything if I don't get it new in decent condition. I could fix the tome nob issue but they should have disclosed the top was a print. It was a present for my daughter but I'm going a different route now. I lost a little money returning it but so be it. I was thinking about Leo Jaymes myself but not after this video. There are guitars out there in the same money that don't have these issues. Keep telling it like it is bro !
I nearly ordered one of these telecasters. Sure glad I didn't . Poor shipping practices can ruin a brand in my opinion. Even my Indio telecaster was better packed . Thanks for the honest video .

Insane packaging. There is no way whoever did that didn’t do it on purpose. “Oh, he had a problem with the little box? Well, we’ll see how he likes the big box!”
Had a problem with fret ends on a Squier bullet. Got it fixed under warranty at Fender service center a while back. It was actually grabbing the high E string

Well you could contact the Leo jamz company direct and send them this video or give your grandson the squier Strat you can’t sell. Look you can’t drive to the hardware store buy sandpaper thinner to wipe it down paint and poly and the gas and time to go there for half what you paid for the guitar. This is what has happened with buying on line your time is at their mercy. We can’t go to a shop look at and decide if it’s worth the price. Because the locals are being pushed out.
