@@ft2688 illyana is a top 5 favorite of mine. Always hoping she's her badass self in every issue. But don't know if she needs a big arch in swords. She's consistently written as badass warrior on the battlefield, and both a cold calculated demeanor as well as fun goofy side outside of battle. She doesn't need big arcs to be interesting.

I've been watching this channel since 2015, and I love how much more comfortable you've become on the mic. But ngl, I miss the old monotone you, that voice was so soothing
I don’t know about you guys, but I wasn’t hyped for X of swords until this chapter. Part 1 set the stage and I was like "meh". But then those issue dropped and explained what was happening and suddenly it had my attention.
Step 1: grab your weapons and select your champions.
Another thing to understand about this step, is the champions of Akarro will also me hunting their weapons, some of which will clash with the likes of ...wolverine?
Basically, this crossover is going to be epic.
Saturnyne acts all high and mighty, manipulating destiny, playing with the other mutants; but when the map makers came all that didn’t matter huh? Those weren’t even Beyonders...
In order: Brian, Betsy, Wolverine, Cable, Apocalypse, Douglock, Magik, Storm, Gorgon.
At first I thought the first two were Cable and Rachel and that the pilot bit was Brian and Betsy, which would make ten, but these nine (ten if you count Cypher and Warlock as separate) fit the riddle better
Saturnyne could actually just wipe the Amenth force with ease , but she want to watch some tournament arc with swords 😂😂
I guess things get boring when you know you could just wipe people out with ease

When i heard Logan gotta get the Muaramasa sword back , i thought they would bring the Muaramasa shield/armor too from X-23 , well i guess not then. Laura still have this another big plot with her in Hickmans run with the Vault Children.

I don't know why they're mad at Apocalypse for Krakoa wanted this done as well.
Well, since Krakoa is basically their landlord, they can´t really blame it in any way lest running into the risk of getting kicked out, especially since it already got pissed by the loss of the external gate.
Apocalypse on the other hand is a comfortable scapegoat for them, given all the bad blood between him and the X-Men.

Brian was brought back to life by jamies reality warping. For all we know he could of added the xgene when ressurecting brian. And i think magneto is the 10th person. You can see his silouhette in the fcbd xmen comic.

I'm really starting to like the Swords of X event. Already read the Wolverine story which is next and it's really good also like the Storm story that comes after that one.

Cypher's prophecy is a little bit obvious.From Many into One. Cypher will enter Orakko with Warlock and Krakoa's help, that's why he counted as three/many. After the tournament only one of this three might survive or they might join together like what we've seen in Moira's 8th Life
Rob you should cover the wolverine tie in and the storm tie in they both show how they get their blades...also would it mess up your process to do these as they come out instead of waiting so long?? Just asking I understand if your breakdown depends on you knowing the complete story the writers going for.
One of them is either Warlock himself or Cypher - "Friend-Self."
The only reasons Rachael’s attacks to those forms is because he feels guilty, guilty for leaving his children in that place for so long and guilty for getting Rictor killed. I think he sees Rictor as a son.

Rob, I have to respectfully disagree with you on the pronunciation. Saturnyne's evil counterpart is Opul Lun Sat-Yr-9. The numeral indicates how it is pronounced. You are free to make an argument in favor of your pronunciation, but it can't simply be because you said so.

I feel the same way. Totally agree with you. I've got 10yrs on Rob reading comics, especially the X-Men. Love his work but he makes mistakes. Just like everyone.

If they had admantium on standby for Wolverine, did Krakoa also have some celestial technology just sitting around for patching up Apocalypse after his resurrection? If not, this might explain his sudden lack of OP-ness.
That riddle would’ve been harder and fun to try to solve if they didn’t already give us the answer. They literally released a cover on a book with everyone that’s getting a sword so yeah smh.

The English pronunciation is Sturn "NINE". However, it is a name and as such can be pronounced how the "user'" parents decided.
I'm surprised they were able to resurrect Rockslide. I know he's a mutant, but he's a psychic entity that's inhabiting a golem like body. So in that logic, he has no DNA to make a clone body.

It would be awesome if hickmen could fuse Professor X, and Magneto powers again to into Apocalypse body to birth Onslaught Apocalypse. I wonder what powers he could unleash with all them together. I dunno why, but I've been having this nostalgia to see Onslaught again in a hyperdize form laying the slack down. Also i'm loving this art in this story. Polaris art scenes are cute and lovely AF.

Classically every year there is a X-Men line wide crossover. It typically ties up the what has been going on and sets the agenda for the coming arcs. This is the first X-Men line crossover sense House and Powers of X.

Apocalypse, Warlock, Storm, Wolverine, Cable, Gorgon, Magik, Betsy (aka Capt Britan), and her brother Jamie with the Sword of Might. My friend and I found out there's 10 swords but 9 wielders and oddly enough the Cerebro sword wasn't in the Prophecy.

Have you ever heard the Tragedy of Darth Plagueis the Wise? I thought not. It's not a story the Jedi would tell you. It's a Sith legend. Darth Plagueis was a Dark Lord of the Sith so powerful and so wise, he could use the Force to influence the midi-chlorians to create...life. He had such a knowledge of the Dark Side, he could even keep the ones he cared about...from dying. The dark side of the Force is a pathway to many abilities some consider to be unnatural. He became so powerful, the only thing he was afraid of was losing his power...which, eventually of course, he did. Unfortunately, he taught his apprentice everything he knew. Then his apprentice killed him in his sleep. Ironic. He could save others from death...but not himself.
