@@CAL_IN_THESE_COMMENTSwe will get a trailer soon. They have to if it is still coming out in fall 2025. Otherwise they wont have much time in between the other trailers/screenshots.
Rockstar wouldn't take inspiration for that movie with influencers lol... I believe it will be a Place beyond the pines kind of structure looking at the leaks and characters, mixed with a lot of pulp fiction themes, and then a lot of inspirations from usual Scorcese, tarantino and Cohen brothers movies. And of course based on the original bonnie and clyde story. Edit: also people are thinking too much about the social media, it will not be a main thing in the story but more like a tool to manipulate the world, and for all kinds of gimmicks like imagine you can become friends with someone to be able to steal their house instead of going guns blazing, imagine it's social media as a sandbox tool, I really vomit about thinking it's the core of the story or that characters are influencers of whatever.
They could also make social media a huge part. Club promoting is a huge social media platform. This literally could make or brake GTA 6. Online would evolve into something but idk. I definitely Rockstar is looking to do something evolutionarily and no body has incorporated social media like this except for watch dogs.
yeah i'll be disappointed if we're going to be playing as a couple of "influencer" wannabee type people, desperate for attention on the internet. I'd be very surprised to see Rockstar taking this approach, it's more likely going to be another aspect of our lives that they can and will satirise as they have done previously, which is more than welcome and that's not to say it won't be a tool that we can utilise like you said.
@@generic_username95 I just hope not. If the story of GTA 6 is based on this 💩 movie, I might even hesitate to buy the game, and I’m the biggest Rockstar fanboy. But I'm not the type of fan who bows down and says YES to everything. There are limits, and I don't want to see this inspiration in GTA 6.

That movie is from 2020. GTA VI's story was probably finalized around that time if not before, so I find it unlikely that it would be a big inspiration to GTA VI considering the timeline.
Listening to this on my journey to work, usually do it on a Wednesday evening when I’m doing house chores lol today was different. Love it as always keep up the awesome work👊
I saw that movie about a couple months back and i was thinking of gta 6 and how they used the social media. The relationship between the main characters gave jason and lucia. No matter how much she messed up somehow he still loved her and fought for her. I can see gta 6 being both funny and dramatic just like rdr2. Cant wait
Set in a 2025 Vice City, the story follows Jason C, a street racer and smuggler, and Lucia O, a former hacker. Their partnership begins out of necessity when a heist goes wrong, forcing them to work together. Lucia, after being asked “Do you know why you're here?” in an interrogation scene, replies “Bad luck, I guess,” setting the tone for the game. Bad luck seems to follow both Jason and Lucia as they navigate the chaotic streets of Vice City, pulling off small-time robberies and hustles to survive. Together, they rise through the ranks of the criminal underworld, stealing crypto, running high-stakes smuggling operations, and getting involved with the tech-driven crime scene. Jason and Lucia quickly find themselves on the radar of Cameron DeLuca, a powerful tech mogul running one of Vice City’s largest criminal syndicates. Their every move brings them deeper into the city’s dangerous underbelly, and the only thing keeping them alive is their ability to trust each other. As Jason says, “The only way we’re gonna get through this is by sticking together. Being a team.” However, things start to fall apart as tensions rise. Jason’s hunger for power puts a strain on their partnership, while Lucia begins to dream of a way out of the criminal life. The theme of trust plays a big role in the game, especially when Jason starts to question whether he can rely on Lucia. He even asks her directly, “Trust? Trust,” highlighting the internal conflict they both face as enemies close in. The introduction of Trey Santiago, an ex-cop turned private security officer who betrays them, only deepens this mistrust. In the climactic final act, Jason plans one last heist-a massive job targeting NeXus Corp, the biggest tech-brokerage in the city. Lucia, however, wants to leave the life behind and escape Vice City before it’s too late. But when they discover that Santiago has set them up and aligned with DeLuca, the stakes skyrocket. What was supposed to be their biggest score turns into a deadly showdown, with Jason and Lucia forced to fight their way through a skyscraper filled with Santiago and DeLuca’s men. The final confrontation takes place on a rooftop in the heart of Vice City. As the game reaches its peak, the themes of bad luck and trust come full circle. In the end, Jason and Lucia manage to escape, barely surviving the chaos. But as they sail off into the sunset, their fate remains uncertain. Will they finally be free, or is their bad luck bound to catch up with them? This plot for GTA 6 brings together themes of survival, betrayal, and trust in a city where tech and crime collide, and no one can be trusted for long.
I know it’s not relevant to the topic of that episode, and you may have already discussed in one of the other 41, but I’ve been rewatching the trailer a lot recently and have been thinking about Stephanie. She’s currently the only other character with a confirmed name other than Lucia, and I think she’ll play a similar role to Dr Freelander who was Michael’s shrink in gta 5. I think Lucia will have regular meetings and phone calls with throughout the game after her release from prison mainly on a check in basis, but she may also give Lucia missions which come in the form of completing community service which she may need to complete a certain amount of hours of and if the player chooses to stop engaging with Stephanie it could lead to Lucia becoming wanted and the police trying to arrest her whenever they see her or them turning up at your safe house
In RDR1 John Marston got more famous as the game progressed which affected how he prgressed through the game. It wouldn't be un thought of for rockstar to use that again.
6:58 Sorry but that’s wrong, South Park the Fractured But Whole did have a social media platform essential to the progression of the game and part of the plot. Don’t blame you for not knowing it though.
What if, at some point, they release locations north of Leonida. Like a modern Version of RdR2s Saint Denis... A whole Cajun part of the map that like Louisiana, And possibly the mountains of the north (Smokey Mountains Parody)...I believe this is in the realm of possibilities.
The movie *INFAMOUS* is literally the same as GTA 6's Trailer 1. The couple kisses in a shot where they're in bed, and the same thing happens at the end of the GTA 6 trailer.
