Thanks for taking the time to put this together. I've just stumbled over the designs and although mostly an aero modeller, have bought the plans and about to start work on my own Emma! Cheers from windy Canberra :-)
Yes, did years of balsa crunching also. This seemed a less expensive alternative. Our Aussie website is not far off getting announced (Oct 2021) so you may find it worth a visit As it will have a lot of build content of all 11 models we've put together to date. Good on you Laurie, you'll find the forum's Emma thread very helpful, and widely interesting. www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?2990671-Bearospace-Sloop-EMMA
I visit recycled timber yards and pick up an occasional ply-faced panel door for a few bucks. This one was so good it went on as is with just a coat of clear sealer over it.
@@ShipShaper I will check it out while I am looking to build my first boat soon. I’m collecting all the necessary materials and tools right now. Because I live in the country, I have to pick and choose and be creative. You have been so helpful so far. Thank you.
It is hard to say, that Google Analytics indicates that anything over a minute, unless especially riveting, is not watched through. But it only notes accumulated viewing sequences so maybe folk just fast forward a bit. I hope so.
Love it. I have started my Emma build this weekend
I'm hoping to make an Emma in the near future. The plans are bought. Thanks for the film...going well in strong wind and competitive. Well done.

Looking good & performing well in the less than ideal conditions.
gGday Pred.. We "survivors" ar still hanging about at tinyurl.com/rxsgbby
Excellent! I must build one!

I love the size of emma but prefer the design or irene. Do you think its possible to resize the 147cm plan size of irene to 100cm just like emma?
Possible but not practical. The basic design can be altered + or - 10% only according to the designer. Find out more at ezyindex.online/
Those are good looking sloops! The deck is good looking up close too. What did you use for it?
