Working in recruitment for over 25 years, his experience in the industry encompasses many areas within the technology discipline.
    Recruiting within the technology space Wayne has witnessed the change within the industry, encouraging him to advocate for female and diverse leadership and advise businesses on effective diverse and inclusive strategy to hire.
    Wayne’s passion for female empowerment and diversity in the workplace stems from his family background. Coming from a large family where he is the oldest of ten children, and having two children and five grandchildren himself, he is constantly reminded by his family what strong women and diversity is.

    A Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts, Carol Ann is the award winning Managing Director of The Zebra Partnership - a Publishing, Events, Media and Campaigns agency working with consultants and performers on a project by project basis here in the U.K. and overseas engaging with diverse audiences from political hustings, festivals to royal visits. Receiving the Inclusive Companies Awards Certificate of Excellence in 2019.
    She is Heritage Trustee for the historic Portico Library and Newsroom. On the Board of 50:50 Parliament, Companion of the Chartered Management Institute (CMI) and on the CMI Womens Board.
    Carol Ann is guest lecturer at the University of Manchester. She has delivered ‘Improving Wiki Diversity’ lectures at the United Nations Youth Association (UNYA) in Denmark, mentored them to host their own Wikieditathon event and hosted a UNYA intern.
    Carol Ann was awarded the 2022 ‘Inspiring Women Worldwide’ accolade from the Womens International Network in Geneva.
    Background
    The name 'Windrush' derives from the 'HMT Empire Windrush' ship which brought one of the first large groups of Caribbean people to the UK in 1948. As the Caribbean was, at the time, a part of the British commonwealth, those who arrived were automatically British subjects and free to permanently live and work in the UK
    The Windrush Generation denotes the people who emigrated from the Caribbean to Britain between the arrival of the HMT Empire Windrush on 22 June 1948 and the Immigration Act 1971, including the passengers on the first ship.
