I think the problem is no one holds nurses or healthcare workers in general accountable. It’s funny because when we take our oath we vow to be patient advocates but most do the opposite. We forget that patients are our bosses instead we think it’s the other way round. Without them we have no jobs. Government hospitals are the worst because they are non profit entities Ku private it’s a different story. Asi munhu munhu whether arikuwana treatment ari ku public or private they deserve to be treated with dignity. You are right ma in service anodiwa to remind each other why we are there and the implications of non caring behavior to both our profession and most importantly to the patient’s well being and recovery. Empathy is key. Zviise mubhutsu yemunhu wawurikurapa and see if that’s how you would want to be treated if roles were reversed. Personally i feel this was a hot topic🔥🔥 . So what i think hangu sedungamunhu is pakushaya professionalism, empathy chaiyo kindness necustomer care. I believe nursing is a calling nekut ii pakashaya calling zvomene ndopanozobuda mhando dzemanurse asingashandiki nawo. I wanted to say more but i dont want to judge zvangu. Kana ndinayo mari i would rather pay zvangu an extra dollar to be treated like a queen than kuenda kwandinoita senge imhosva kut ndarwara kana kut imhosva kut ndoda kusunungutswa😂😂. I always say this ... Nursing is one profession that allows bullies to thrive. Even after qualifying ukangotibhaizeyi you will be bullied all in the name of being a junior nurse. When I qualified I had a scenario where I was given maduties asingaite achisplitwa for 3 respective weeks for no reason ,I stood my ground and told ayigadzira maduty kuti nditori an adult just like everyone arikuuya kubasa I need time with my family zvekundisplitira izvi azvindiitiri . That's when it stopped.
