As a person, who played SuperTux as a kid, all I have to say, is that I see this old version was too poor to enjoy. I'm incredibly glad it is still updated and it's given new stuff, such as cutscenes, bosses, the forest world, new enemies, etc. In the short, the game keeps getting better and better. Almost like Minecraft, or maybe unlike Minecraft. My only downside of the newer version, is that the map theme for icy world, called 'Salsa con Carne' got a bit worse, since one of the older versions. But that can be fixed.

I've heard the reason the map theme changed was because some of the midi instruments used turned out to not be royalty free, and in order to keep the game free of charge as intended, they had to change it's instruments so that it only used royalty free instruments.

That's a misconception, "SuperTux 2" is just a nickname for Milestone 2 which is the version shown in this video.

I do like how the screen allows you to see what is up ahead. There was a sonic hack by markeyjester that did the same thing and It was such an Improvement.
