    I think you and Paul Wasabii are the only ones (that I know of so far) that have really gone in depth about how the different versions of the EW300 stack up to each other. It's much appreciated, though. 🙏 Both of you seem to be in agreement with your observations and conclusions and it's always nice to hear consistent results from different sources. Thank you for another great review! 👍

      I didn't have plans to do this video, as the cost was pretty high, but when Simgot offered to send me the DSP version for free and the standard version dropped to $50 for prime day... Well the video fell right into my lap hahaha.

    i appreciate when you did some experiment of the DSP onto other IEM(s).
    Personally i think the mic of the DSP is still among the better ones.
    However i find the mic from (a headphone) UGreen HiTune Max5C is better than Simgot's - based on reviews (refer to Andy Audio Vault).
    Anyway, i also experimented other DSP (from Fiio JD1) on EW300 - modification needed.
    JD1 DSP is so versatile across most of my IEMs collection.
    i managed to love EW300 because of JD1 DSP, i love EW200 "Maze" even more with it.
    Despite of JD1 DSP specification being just at 24bit/192kHz, i highly recommend everyone to get one.

    From a far, it's Simgot's latest EW series but when you look closer it's actually the iPhone 16 series just in iem form lol
    But seriously, they could and should sell that cable as a stand alone but something tells me it won't be for $10 that's for sure
    As for EW300 series, seems like 10 bucks was more for convenience with dsp & having it not be a fingerprint magnet but it's still a helluva performance value at 80 as it is at 70 regardless.
    Literally, really appreciate your more realistic take on these series as a very accurate representation of what might most consumers might encounter & experience when cross-shopping the 3.
    Thank You & Happy 1K 👏👏👏

    I know you stated clearly that you dont trust measurements above 6k but Interesting to note that on your measurements the HBB appears more energetic than the standard version in that region and above. On most measurements ive seen, the standard looks the brightest followed by the HBB and then the DSP... I guess that just proves yiur point... @@reflection1119 I try to do at least a first impression listen before I graph my IEMs. Usually right after I unbox them.
      Sometimes the information I see from 6-20K makes sense with what I hear, other times not as much. It’s also really hard to read 7-9K because of the resonance peak around 8K. And sometimes the physical size of the IEM makes it really hard to line up the 8K peak.

  • @miershyk
    @miershyk หลายเดือนก่อน

    If Simgot has an app for the DSP, like Moondrop or Tanchjim, I think it would have been more appealing to buyers. I end up with the HBB mostly because of the matte black shell. The treble is certainly less sharp (for me) compared to the Delci AE, even though I miss the AE's resolution.

    • @AudioAmigoReviews
      @AudioAmigoReviews  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      That's one of the main things I told Simgot in our communication. If you had an app that actually worked and was user friendly, and people could tweak their sound, the value proposition here would be insane.

      @@AudioAmigoReviews Exactly, I've the Tanchjim One DSP and have some fun with it. Though I can see some people not caring if they can just EQ it. • @AudioAmigoReviews
      @AudioAmigoReviews  หลายเดือนก่อน +7

      Between the Delci and EW300, I think the EW300 is more versatile, and therefore the one I recommend.
      The Artti T10 is a very different sound. It's a lot less bassy, more vocal forward, and in my opinion, more detailed.
      If you want a warmer, bassier sound, EW300
      If you want a more technical, musical sound, T10

    • @someoneusa
      @someoneusa หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      What he said 😎 I'll add the T10 is kinda on a league of its own so if it were me I'd pick up the EDC PRO for a Delci-ish sound and T10 on sale. You'll want power for T10 magic, it adds the planar oomph, otherwise it sounds a lot like a like a very nice DD and you can get the same sound on EDX PRO X for next to nothing.

  • @bharatjeevan
    @bharatjeevan หลายเดือนก่อน

    Unrelated to this video but, out of Tangzu Wan'er SG, Wan'er Studio Edition and Truthear Gate, which one did you rate best for sound quality ? 😅
    I have the 7hz Zero and would like something similar, preferably with a microphone.
    Except for EDM, I listen to most genres. Would love to know how the original Wan'er and the Gate compares to the 7hz Zero!

    • @AudioAmigoReviews
      @AudioAmigoReviews  หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      @@bharatjeevan I personally feel that in terms of overall resolution. The Studio Edition, Gate, and OG Zero are slightly above the Original Wan’Er.
      But the Wan’Er OG is going for a bassier, more female vocal focused sound signature, so I feel that it’s more a thing of different tastes rather than which one is better.
      The 7Hz Zero is also different from the Gate and the Wan’Er Studio because it has less overall bass energy compared to the other two. As I said in my Zero review. It’s tuning is kinda unique outside of the Moondrop Quarks 2. But that’s a USB C DSP IEM.
      The closest you’ll get in this price range to the Zero are the EW100P, Gate, and the Wan’Er Studio. The EW100P doesn’t have. Microphone unless you want the DSP version.
      So that leaves the Wan’Er Studio and the Gate.
      Me personally. I would go for the gate. It’s not as pretty, but it has a better cable and better accessories and a bit more rumble in the sub-bass.
      But they’re near equal in terms of overall sound quality. Just be ready for more bass than your Zeros.
      Hope this helps!

    • @bharatjeevan
      @bharatjeevan หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@AudioAmigoReviews Wow thanks a ton for the detailed response man :)
      That did help a ton !
      What I was looking for, was an IEM with similar bright neutral sound with a microphone for calls.
      I really like the resolution and volume I'm getting from the Zero. I use them on my phone and about 40 percent was plenty enough for me to enjoy all the fine details.
      If I had to nitpick, I would've liked a tad bit more bass - not enough to drown out the rest and reduce the clarity of the tracks overall. Also the treble can be slightly harsh at times on the Zero.
      So something that's not as harsh and maybe a tad bit more bass whilst maintaining the resolution and clean presentation of the Zero would be perfect.
      Going by your description, the GATE seems like the closest match, right ?

    • @AudioAmigoReviews
      @AudioAmigoReviews  หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      In my experience, the only way cables make any difference is if you’re using some extremely high resistance cables on IEMs with certain combinations of crossovers and drivers.
      If the resistance of the cable can change the damping factor of the amp/headphone system. It makes a noticeable difference in sound.
      The problem is that even the cheapest cables these days are made with good quality conductors with appropriately low resistance…
      I like having fancy cables, but for me it’s about looks and feel rather than “sound quality”
      I don’t like getting into subjects like this because the other side will never budge no matter what I do. I just live and let live.
