    Thanks for sharing, We saw Them in the summer in Camden. Neil Donell was sick and missed the show so the rest of the guys split the Cetera songs. Also Rick Springfield cancelled as the opening act.

      I think it is about time to bring Jason Scheff and Peter Cetera back to Chicago, because, I really want to hear of what it would be like for Scheff and Cetera to sing together along with Neil Donnell's voice and the horns! LOL!

  • @AlexZiolkowski

    You can tell they already have a backup in place for Neil, playing the bass.

    • @billstout6159
      @billstout6159 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Neil doesn't play bass. He plays acoustic. Bret started when Neil started.

      @@billstout6159 I was just saying that they have someone as a backup in case Neil was ill or couldn’t perform.

    According to Wikipedia, Loren Gold has replaced Lou Pardinni, but I’ve seen nothing elsewhere on line to back this up.🤔

    this band is just hanging on by a thread. what are they on? the 4th person to replace peter c?

    • @robertgross2519
      @robertgross2519 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      That's correct. The fourth "person" is actually two people: Neil Donell (vocals) and Brett Simons (bass).

      Then every band is a cover band. Kansas, Styx, Journey, Earth Wind and Fire etc. None have ALL the original members. Things happen in the course of 50 plus years.

      Keith broke his hand, and then he decided to quit the band after 27 years. Tony was the temporary replacement, but now he is permanent.

    The 3 original members should retire and enjoy the rest of their lives.

    I have to say I don't like the new line up. The lead singer doesn't add any depth to the songs. He actually looks like a office worker that got up to sing! Just not good!

    • @robertgross2519

      Cetera had a once-in-a-lifetime voice. It IS hard to "get over" even after all these years.
