For heaven's sake, you did an absolutely stellar job on this song, sir! I think you said your name is Chris? Sorry if I got that wrong, you speak very fast! You've done Jim & Maury proud here.
Thanks for the lesson! Started on it yesterday. Always like to watch how your fingers move about which makes it easier for me to learn the song. Definitely some parts that will be challenging for me which is one of the reasons I chose the song. Plus it is such a great song when played well. 👍👍
Great tutorial man! For the life of me, I can’t understand why there’s ANY dislikes. But haters will hate I guess. Well played and gone through for the lesson. I’m excited to get going on this. Might take me sometime, but will definitely use this video for reference. God bless and keep up the good work
It is a very good tutorial. If it wouldn't be too much trouble, would you please consider slowing down your speech as you say which fret with which finger on which string? It is difficult to follow when it is a jumble of words and then corrected because you misspoke. Such as starting at 4:29 then 10 seconds of confusion, followed by further confusion until 4:53. In the end I got it, but the amount of times I watched that segment over, back to back, was stressful. Aside from that, you nailed this tutorial. Many thanks for the effort. You certainly earned this sub, and I'll see you at your website.
Learning the lead section right now, using a thumbpick seems like the way to go if you have some experience using one. It makes the quick switches from flat picking to finger style seamless
Hey man can i say Great job also can i make a one suggestion? put the tabs of what your playing while playing it to really help drive it home some people need that Visual but other than that AWESOME instructional video
Thanks Tyler glad you like it. I certainly would add the tabs but it breaks copyright laws. It can get you shut down so the risk isn't worth it for me. Cheers
There goes my subscription. I was considering it, but when I got to the end and realized it was probably paid content for the chorus and stuff... nah. There's at least one other site that'll teach the whole song, note for note (on the studio recording)
@@SixStringFingerpicking Sorry about the assumption. I was frustrated when I realized it would take more navigation and then I might have to pay... etc. AFTER I spent the requisite time to learn this friggin song. I'll reconsider. Peace.
in the video settings, you can slow down the video. Although, if you're really struggling to keep up and that doesn't help, it might be worth checking out some easier songs to start with! Best of luck 🤞

Great tutorial. You’re very clear in your instructions. Anyone saying you’re playing too fast just needs to rewind! Haha

No ones learning nothing, your playing to fast!!
LEAVE IT TO a Karen to talk trash. Not too fast...you're too slow. Go hire a teacher cheapskate.
