Very useful. Faith comes by hearing the Word of God. It penetrates deeply and seperates soul and spirit. One evening I was listening to this and almost fell asleep.. at John 17 I almost cried while half awake/half sleeping, because the words touched me deeply.
These particular audio bible readings have the best actors and readers. At first I thought they added words here and there to make it more interesting but I discovered its straight out of the bible. It's just read so well I love it. My favorite part is the prayer Jesus prays "I pray for those who will believe in me through their message" I'm like that's me, so encouraging. Thanks again for having this blessing on TH-cam. I love Gods word!

When I wake up at night and can't go back to sleep right away, I listen to the Bible. It calms me. One thing to help you understand what you read, try reading along with the audio version when you can. You are receiving His Word in two different ways. This is what I do anyway. Also, turn on CC here to read along. Make sure the CC s correct though because sometimes it does not translate. This is why I read along with a Bible app or a Bible. God Bless all! Thank you Jesus!

John is the perfect book to start with, imo, although the first chapter can be a little confusing at first. I pray that God blesses you with discernment and wisdom. I pray His word finds a home in you. Much love to you, friend. God bless you.

In the meantime, a couple good pastors I listen to that I learned a lot from early on in my journey and still do today are Pastor Greg Laurie and Dr. David Jeremiah. Please stay away from the Prosperity preachers, they aren't good. Like Joel Osteen, Benny Hinn, pretty much everyone you see on TBN & DayStar. One exception to that would me 'My Jewish Roots' they have a TH-cam channel, too. God bless you.

No, what your family thinks shouldn't matter, unfortunately it usually does affect those of us they ridicule. And it doesn't feel good. But, God will give you the strength to persevere thru that. Be an example. Don't push your faith on them, be an example and that will plant seed. What happens after that is up to God. They may start asking you one day. May God's Peace fill your day.

I wish there was a TV series of the entire Gospel, and it would have to include everything that is there. Sadly some of the actors here aren't so good, but whenever Jesus's actor speaks in this audio, it amazes me. The way Jesus spoke is so mysterious!

I've been listening to this version of audio Bible for decades! Bought long ago and have all the files organized and ready to go! I've noticed my copy is a slightly older version of the NIV, which I like.

The issue may occur because of the different versions : 1973, 1978, 1984, 2011. Certainly, Jesus Christ is the son of most high God.
