This video got some strange data. Jimmy Neutron is the first cartoon to use digital animation? I don’t think so
I'm pretty sure REBOOT was the first completely CGI animated TV series. But I do not know if the software used was proprietary or commercially available. The same company would do the TRANSFORMERS: BEAST WARS series and another toy-centric cartoon from the 90s whose name escapes me.
No jimmy Neutron wasn’t the first series to use cgi. Reboot came out in 1994 which technically should have been included. If you were to say “for kids” then maybe, but no.

You do realize that while Mickey Mouse has 3 Academy Awards, Tom & Jerry has 7 Academy Awards (therefore making them have the most Academy Awards that a certain cartoon character has).
As heartbreaking as Ice King's origin is, Saddest Backstory should belong to someone else. Someone who's suffering all began, on the day of his actual birth, when both of his parents failed to show up.

You need to be more specific with that claim. It was the first to win best animated feature sure, but not to win any kind of academy award. Disney's been scooping up awards in musical categories for ages now. Pinocchio won "Best original score" and "Best song" for "When you wish upon a star" in 1940.
Totally agree. Most annoying is highly subjective. Velma is a strong contender, but if we all think about it, there’s probably a list of really irritating characters in animation. Cailou, for example.

Some of these seem rather subjective and you missed the fact _Beauty and the Beast_ was the first animated film to be nominated for Best Picture at the Oscars (mostly because Best Animated Feature wasn’t a thing yet🙄).

"The Simpsons" is (to my knowledge) the longest running WESTERN animated show. "Sazae-san" is the longest running animated series in general, running from at least the late 60s.
I remember seeing that on TV as a kid. They did a re-enactment of "A Christmas Carol". At the end of the story, the animators drew a theater scene: The curtain opens and the cast of characters take a bow as if they had just done a live performance. An original touch to the special.

3:35 The DuckTales record is really questionable, because it apparently counts both the original 1987 version and the 2017 reboot together. They're actually two separate series.🤔🦆
DuckTales 1987 did have 100 episodes, and it was across four seasons as stated. Why they used reboot artwork when they're referring to the original series is beyond me.
I was glad to see my childhood hero, Uncle Scrooge, included in the list. He introduced me to worthwhile activities such as starching and ironing the (very few) dollar bills I had as a kid. ;)
Totally Spies is NOT the first animated series to have an all female lead cast. I mean, the powerpuff girls predate them by two years and even then, I don’t think they’re the first, either
2:00 Jimmy Neutron was not the first animated series to use computer animation. Jimmy Neutron started airing in 2002, while Veggie Tales started out in 1993, Reboot started airing in 1994, and Transformers: Beast Wars aired in 1996. All of those shows were animated with CGI.
Longest running Cartoon Network Series: Lego Ninjago (2011 - 2022) 11 years, 15 seasons Teen Titans Go! (2013 - current) 11 years, 8 seasons Ed, Edd, N Eddy (1999 - 2009) 10 years, 6 seasons What's interesting is that Ed, Edd, N Eddy and Teen Titans Go! use the typical release of one season every year and a half and then rely on reruns while the next season is in production; but Ninjago rarely had reruns because its purpose was to advertise playsets. Each new season was done in fairly rapid succession to push the new set, with multiple seasons airing each year. So while it's currently tied in age with TTG and will likely be surpassed next year, Ninjago definitely wins out in terms of content. It's also worth noting that while Ed, Edd, N Eddy is beat out by both other shows in quantity, it's at least tied with Ninjago in quality (my kid brother was 5 when Ninjago began, so I've watched along with him his whole life and really have to say, it's an absolute banger). All three are record setters in their own ways, which is worth analysis.

Actually, to be more precise, Simpson is the longest running scripted primetime show, surpassing Gunsmoke, and cracking (well past at this point) 700 episodes
As a Simpsons fan your soooo close but i wouldn't say your right. Smithers wasent OPENLY Gay for a very long time. Just because we could see his thoughts and we KNEW doesn't mean he wasent hiding in the closet ( that's not open ). Also had to edit because i get the feeling someone will bring up the Anti-gay shot he uses in one of the older future episodes and nah not counting it because he's still "hiding" or trying to "fix" it. Selma on the other hand was because she came out in 2004 during one of the best episodes ever " There's something about Marrying". I'm not gay but best believe if i was id be using "queerly Beloved" for my wedding lmfao.
The first Openly gay character would go to the animated series Mission Hill. In 1999 Gus and Wally were an openly gay couple and aired the first animated gay kiss.
Since anime were included, somethings should be reviewed like as the longest cartoon that's sazae-san and the longest laugh that should goes for some one piece character (or should be a category for cartoon with most different laughs)
Two annoying points with the presentation of this video: 1) The text goes all the way to the bottom of the video, under the progress bar, obscuring the text. 2) Your channel icon at the end of the video is over and obscures the text written on the last slide, about The Simpsons. Note: I watched this with a PC.
Snow White is not the first full length animated feature, that goes to Prince Achmed, at least as the oldest surviving one (since there's a few older, they're just either extremely rare or didn't survive).
Fun Fact: For those who keep Praising "Toy Story" as Pixar Studio's first CGI movie, well, Some of the Pixar studio Founders, who had left Lucas-Films in the early 1980's (Probably after Star Wars:Return of the Jedi, released in 1983) made the short film "Luxo Jr" in 1986, experimentally, with the animated table lamp (I guess, eponymously named Luxo jr) you see jumping around at the begging of Toy Story and most of their movies, as a homage to their start to CGI cinema technology!
So many sources claim The Simpsons to be the longest-running animated series, or to have the most episodes, but that's nowhere near correct. Japanese cartoon Sazae-san has been continuously airing from 1969 to the present day, and has over 2700 episodes. Additionally, Japanese cartoon Doraemon has been steadily airing in Japan from 1979 to the present day (arguably from 1973, though there was a long hiatus between 1973 and 1979), and has well over 2500 episodes at this point as well. Even if you separate the 1979-2005 series and the 2005-present series (as they are apparently different productions, though the 2005-present series immediately took over the 1979-2005 series' spot without any gap in airings, so I think it's fair to count it as one contiguous show), the 1979-2005 series has over 1700 episodes and the 2005-present series has over 800, placing both well over The Simpsons' numbers. For some reason, these shows always seem to be ignored when people cite The Simpsons as the longest-running cartoon in history, I guess because they're Japanese? But they are still cartoons, for children, that absolutely demolish pretty much every single other record.
The longest continuous laugh performed by a fictional character was Rob Petrie on The Dick Van Dyke show, not Woody Woodpecker Spongebob Squarepants has been translated into 60 different languages while Dora the Explorer has only been translated into 25 South Park may have more than 2,800 characters, but it is second to Robot Chicken which has more than 3,300 characters According to popular opinion, the dumbest cartoon character would be Patrick Star from Spongebob Squarepants Arthur has 259 episodes while Adventure Time has 283, making that the kids show with the most episodes Turbo FAST was Netflix's very first animated show, which came out in December of 2013 while Bojack Horseman wouldn't appear until August of 2014 First animated series to be done in CGI was ReBoot which aired in 1994 while Jimmy Neutron first aired back in 2002 Dizzy Dishes which stars Betty Boop was first shown in 1930 while Steamboat Willie, the first piece of media in which not only Mickey Mouse, but also Minnie Mouse appeared in which was first shown in 1928 The first autistic cartoon character in animated cartoon history is Liam from a show called Dinosquad which aired a year before Arthur Gotham Girls had an all-female lead main cast first since it came out in 2000 while Totally Spies first aired in 2001

“FIRST FEMALE CARTOON CHARACTER: BETTY BOOP”
Apparently Minnie Mouse from “Steamboat Willie” (1928) is not considered female. 🤦
*1928. 😅
@@SeaDog1667-1st Thank you for the correction! I'll fix it right away!
I was glad to see my childhood hero, Uncle Scrooge, included in the list. He introduced me to worthwhile activities such as starching and ironing the (very few) dollar bills I had as a kid. ;)
As a DuckTales superfan, I am mentally giving you a dime. Good luck, lad.
1:12 I thought they stopped making Pokémon, but I think they are continuing just without Ash Ketchum
Clearly they don't count most anime as "cartoons", because many of these would be put to absolute shame.
Totally Spies used to be like my guilty pleasure cartoon during childhood, because I thought it was too mature for kids!!!😆😆

Factguide: Woody Woodpecker has The longest continuous laugh.
That mf weasels from Roger Rabbit: 🚬🗿
First Animated show to have an all female cast: totally spies.
The original Sarah and friends doll show from 1942: Suis-je une blague pour toi ?
Totally Spies is NOT the first animated series to have an all female lead cast. I mean, the powerpuff girls predate them by two years and even then, I don’t think they’re the first, either
Actually no Isn’t professor utoniom mojo jojo and the mayor all recurring characters professor U is def a main
Professor U ain’t a main. That is the equivalent of calling Timmy Turner’s parents main characters
I tend to find Daffy Duck funnier than Bugs Bunny.
Yeah well you're 💦dessssss💦picable!💦
2:00 Jimmy Neutron was not the first animated series to use computer animation. Jimmy Neutron started airing in 2002, while Veggie Tales started out in 1993, Reboot started airing in 1994, and Transformers: Beast Wars aired in 1996. All of those shows were animated with CGI.
Jajajajaja... This thing has a lot of subjectivity and questionable things, like Scooby-Doo being a horror animated series XD
2:11 You're right...
Besides, on this image we can see that Lumpy didn't break the Piñata, but he broken his mates by mistake.
Scrappy got a bit of redemption in the Velma show.
Jimmy neutron is the first to use computer animation? I’m pretty sure “reboot” beat it to it. Oh, you mean in America….. okay, got ya
A lot of these are INCREDIBLY subjective and should not be included among actual facts (ex: saddest backstory, funniest character).
It made me happy to see Happy Tree Friends and Totally Spies........but i feel there's a show that deserves a special spot in the ranking.
CODE LYOKO.
Actually jimmy neutron wasn’t the first 3D cartoon series
That was a show called reboot, and then after that was donkey Kong
Veggietales predates all three of those
Sazae San is the longest running animated series
2:14 MY BOI GETTING RECONIZED
Longest running Cartoon Network Series:
Lego Ninjago (2011 - 2022) 11 years, 15 seasons
Teen Titans Go! (2013 - current) 11 years, 8 seasons
Ed, Edd, N Eddy (1999 - 2009) 10 years, 6 seasons
What's interesting is that Ed, Edd, N Eddy and Teen Titans Go! use the typical release of one season every year and a half and then rely on reruns while the next season is in production; but Ninjago rarely had reruns because its purpose was to advertise playsets.

Actually reboot was the first animated CGI show
The Flintstones was the first US show entirely to feature a married couple in the same bed together.
Actually, to be more precise, Simpson is the longest running scripted primetime show, surpassing Gunsmoke, and cracking (well past at this point) 700 episodes
The first full-length animated feature film was NOT Snow White but "El Apóstol" in 1917. 20 years before Snow White.

Don't forgot about the owl house for the having the best shippings ever

The first animated feature was the 1917 argentinian film El Apostol
Since anime were included, somethings should be reviewed like as the longest cartoon that's sazae-san and the longest laugh that should goes for some one piece character (or should be a category for cartoon with most different laughs)
For the longest cartoon series, there’s a Japanese animated series from the 1960s that’s still on called “Sazae-san”.
Two annoying points with the presentation of this video: 1) The text goes all the way to the bottom of the video, under the progress bar, obscuring the text. 2) Your channel icon at the end of the video is over and obscures the text written on the last slide, about The Simpsons. Note: I watched this with a PC.

Beasties (beast wars) & Reboot came out in the first half of the nineties long before Jimmy Neutron.
Veggietales predates them
You guys are blatantly missing reboot, which was the first fully computer animated T V show ever. And it was Canadian made.
Why are videos that follow this format always full of wrong information?
1:06 Dragon Ball and that anime with the blue cat: *should I warn them?*
Snow White is not the first full length animated feature, that goes to Prince Achmed, at least as the oldest surviving one (since there's a few older, they're just either extremely rare or didn't survive).
Reboot and Transformers Beast Wars were CGI before Jimmy Neutron.
It's not full-length, though.
Jimmy Neutron was not the first animated series to use computer animation. That was Reboot.
Veggietales predates Reboot
@@KaiTheTyrantwow, really? I didn’t know that. But Reboot was probably the first to air weekly.
What about the first show to feature a same-sex wedding? Which I think goes to Steven Universe.

Spongebob Squarepants has been translated into 60 different languages while Dora the Explorer has only been translated into 25
South Park may have more than 2,800 characters, but it is second to Robot Chicken which has more than 3,300 characters

Arthur has 259 episodes while Adventure Time has 283, making that the kids show with the most episodes
Turbo FAST was Netflix's very first animated show, which came out in December of 2013 while Bojack Horseman wouldn't appear until August of 2014
First animated series to be done in CGI was ReBoot which aired in 1994 while Jimmy Neutron first aired back in 2002
Dizzy Dishes which stars Betty Boop was first shown in 1930 while Steamboat Willie, the first piece of media in which not only Mickey Mouse, but also Minnie Mouse appeared in which was first shown in 1928
The first autistic cartoon character in animated cartoon history is Liam from a show called Dinosquad which aired a year before Arthur
Gotham Girls had an all-female lead main cast first since it came out in 2000 while Totally Spies first aired in 2001
You know the focus of the video is animation, right? I could be wrong, but I don't think the Dick Van Dyke Show has ever been animated.
