TheKiss Bit late here but you should also try out Wario: Master of Disguise for DS. It's not a typical Wario Land adventure, but it's still pretty similar: Solve puzzles with the help of various shapeshifter forms to get fat loot!
This has to be one of the most creative Nintendo games. Everything from the art style to the music and the gameplay itself was so quirky and unusual for their games at the time.
I remember being a big fan of this game's soundtrack when I was like 4, and as soon as I heard this song on TH-cam I remembered why I loved it so much. I now listen to this song every day at work to get me through my shift. It has a great "getting work done" vibe to it, and it's just so happy and energetic.
If only smash bros brawl and smash bros 4 had some enemies and stages based on this game, I can imagine it would be funny tossing the triangle block at your foes, or destroying cat blocks whist foes are atop them,
I hope that for the next Smash game the Wario moveset gets reworked to represent better the Wario Land and Ware series, with some content from those games, like music or a stage.
fun fact mario sports superstars for the 3ds has 2 tracks in smash wario land as a series has 1 track donkey kong country tropical freeze has 2 tracks and one of them is a jungle hyjinx remix so its actually 1 track the legend of zelda: majoras mask has 1 track, and a remix of that one track final fantasy is at least lucky it got TWO whole tracks to itself so it can at least say that its EQUAL to mario sports superstars

Oh, and Virtual Boy Wario Land should get to Virtual Console. It's a great game and hardly any of us are able to play it.

It’s so sad that this game was so short. Only 17 level if you don’t count the tutorial, and 4 worlds (not counting the tutorial and ending worlds as they only had 1 level)

Its just an awesome game. not only regarding the cool music and the nice level-design. i especially love the concept of the enemies like this little car driving things in this level^^

I love toy themed levels in games. Toy Time Galaxy is my favourite Galaxy from the Mario Galaxy games, so having a whole world with essentially a "toy/games" theme was pretty damn cool.

There is a indie game called Pizza Tower that is basically Wario Land 5. It is amazing. Even the gameplay and music borrow inspiration from it.
