He nailed it. My grandma and I would watch this and rescue 911 every night I stayed over at her house. As soon as he began to speak it was 1993 and everything was alright with the world.

What’s really weird is they still play the old unsolved mysteries just with new hosts it’s the same footage from the old shows except for the few they scrolled like the one about l’enfant.

Thank you for posting all these clips. I was pretty young when this was on so it's fun to watch and actually get all the jokes

Same thing happens to Lenin now. It wasn't there at the time, but people do the same thing.

Man, I actually miss the Kingdome. I remember my dad taking us kids there to watch the Mariners play, and get free baseball bats sponsored by McDonalds.

It's crazy seeing Oxbow Park back then. The city has completely revived it and the neighborhood surrounding it is growing pretty fast.

They should have mentioned the Mystery Coke Machine on Capitol Hill. That actually IS an unsolved mystery of Seattle!

TheLockNessMonster I just looked up the Mystery Coke Machine on Capital Hill and there is a video saying that IT is missing! The you tube video was uploaded last July. Do you know anything about that or if the Machine has returned?

not anymore. As of late 2019, it isn't there anymore. I went to FINALLY see it, only to find it gone. It may have been moved elsewhere but if it has then I have no idea where.

If their marketing department had been a little sharper, "Almost Live: Where Are The Pants?" would have been a t-shirt.

@@ADavidJohnsonAnd they were correct. Their city and way of life was annihilated by tech-migration and their whack-job politics. “But look at all the money”. Yeah, that’s not what they were referring to.

Crime was higher, more people were poorer back then. Now there is a lot of money in the city, with a higher wealth disparity, but less overall crime.

"One of the country's most livable cities." Ah, those halcyon days of peace, law and order, with parks we pay for and could actually use, streets we could walk with little fear of druggies attacking, without kicking needles out of the way as we walk. Ahhhh, good times, good times.
