Watching this in 2024. I remember the early 1960s in Seattle and I remember when this show was on TV too. And now it's all gone but it is still damn funny.
Jesus, this brings back memories...I can't believe it's been nearly 30 years. My friends and I still quote Roscoe's Oriental Rug Emporium to this day (and I remain in awe of Pat Cashman's breath control, seriously).
I remember moving to Seattle from the D.C. suburbs on February 14, 1990. I was so freaked out but enchanted with this weird-ass place. My girlfriend and I watched "Almost Live" and could barely make any sense of it, even though she had lived here for a year in 1983 as a traveling nurse. Seattle WAS fun back then. I so wish it hadn't changed. 😢
Seattle was a blast in the 80's and 90's! I really miss the optimism and goofiness, the sheer fun of life in those days.
20 years before Portlandia! The more things change the more they stay the same

Rosco’s rug emporium has been my favorite since I was 8.

Back when three fourths of the bands here in Portland moved to Seattle to get record contracts. 😀
thank you.
Skateboarders in Seattle ❤
The older this show gets, the funnier its name becomes.
Thanks for posting these!
That show, was often more funny than SNL. The good old days.
High Fivin' White Guys, Billy Quan, and Bill Nye as Speed Walker!
Those were Thai food takeout containers back then? Now they're teriyaki takeout containers.
Seriously
18:11 Is that Bill Nye?
still waking up to glass being recycled
We really need to update this show. The Seattle of today is more ripe for satire than ever.
