I met him in the early 1960s in Mikes Bar around the corner from our first NYC apt. The bar was our 'living room' and Bobby was the singer - super wonderful guy!
When this man spoke you listened and I did. I will miss him very much because he was a true genius. I had the honor of working with me at The Massachusetts Highway Department in Boston and I really will miss him. He was a true gentleman and I mean it. He did believe in GOD and THE LORD JESUS CHRIST and so do I.
Just thinking about when I first heard this song as a young child of 4 or 5, it evokes a deep emotion I felt then. Just a lovely, thought provoking song. Rest In Peace, Mr. Bobby Hebb. Thank you for this song.
5:30 Oh that is so massive, the epiphany about the drums. Yes, they do take it to another level! You can here it roll with a groove to die for, but that. And of course that key change is one of the all timers. Beautiful song, words, and a beat that is one of a kind. I mean it, that beat. duh duh rest rest restttt rest rest resttttttt duh duh Thank you for....
In 1966 when I was a young girl of 12-13 and going steady, this became our song. To this day I stop and pause every time I hear “Sunny”❤️🥲
Same here..with my boyfriend in 8th grade. Was our song and still brings fond memories when I hear this song.💕
A fine example of a great human being.
This man has something I've never quite seen in another human being. Remarkable.

No, I think Bobby was smiling as he consciously quoted the Bond theme. Xx
