La Fortuna - San Isidro - Ciudad Quesada - San Carlos Dan has been asking me to visit this community for over a year now. The reason I didn't go was because I thought it was more of a thought in someones head A couple homes, plenty of empty lots and a massive gate out front to look like it's something it's not. I was very pleasantly surprised by this community. So nice, quiet, big pool, nicely maintained lots and houses. I would love to live there myself.

Beautiful co-op gated community located 20 minutes from La Fortuna and 30 Minutes From Ciudad Quesada.
Property Has 24 hour security, on site manager, measures 20 acres and has electricity, water, cable TV and Internet.
Has hiking trails to the river and many recreation areas along the river.
The property contains a large swimming pool, large meeting area with Industrial Kitchen, Gym, Tennis court, 2 soccer fields, a volleyball court, basketball court a children's play area and a volleyball court.
-Each lot is approx 400 meters (4000 sq ft).
-The monthly owner fees are $100 which includes the cable Tv. The fees cover the maintenance of the entire property -if you want the gardener to maintain your own personal lot its an extra $20 per month.
-The property is run as a co-op so each person buys a share in the project which pertains to the particular lot (and whatever is on that lot)
-The project has been in operation for 25 years, most of the owners are retirees, business owners and college professors-who were the original founders of the property.
The project has a list of rules which are all very good for maintaining a quiet safe community
-One of the rules to take note of is you cannot rent your home-only you and your family can stay there -obviously if a friend comes to visit that is fine-but you cannot put the property on Airbnb.
-80% of the owners are Costa Rican and there are only 7 full time residents. The rest of the owners only visit on the weekends and holidays.
-The project is extremely safe and is ideal from someone who wants to live in cr full time or someone who wants to come and go without the hassle of someone taking care of your property while you are gone.

It's normally 75-80 degrees Fahrenheit (24-26.7 Celsius)
all year long. No summers, winters, or falls. Just sun and rain.
I like Dan. He explains things more thorough than the other agent..
We like him too... he does a GREAT job at showing the property, and knows what he has to tell us about the place.

OK this is right up My Alley, Tico pricing I’m a handyman and electrician I love putting my own touches on things find me this 40 minutes from the ocean anywhere from samara to ojochal. With enough land to garden that is my passion and hobby.

There are tico builders in GUANACASTE those are the cheapest prices you can get.
