Photo to 3D, parallax or 2.5D effect tutorial

I was recently asked if it was possible to add some depth to a photo, using nly photoshop and here's the answer. Of course you can use Fusion or After Effects but for a quick efficient result Photoshop does the job and handles a lot of the tedium for you.
