Always baffled why Subaru doesn't sell more in UK. I think people just don't realise how good they are. Everyone just wants a German badge these days it seems and don't give a toss about actual capability (or reliability for that matter!).
I personally think the Outback is the pick of the range in the UK. I nearly got the XV but after testing the Outback there was no comparison. Bigger engine, more space, a fantastic all rounder.
@@rivervalegroup Absolutely. They are not the most reliable, so it makes sense to buy one with a extended warranty. I own a limited legacy myself, i just don't see the value of a Crosstrek hybrid but there will be a PHEV Forester in 2023 and I will of course be looking out for the soltera EV when it will be released
@@z1az285 family plus offroad (very bad forest roads) plus city plus car handling/ SUV ground clearance. It's a very rare combination. Of course, if one needs all that in one vehicle.

Just bought one of these as a downsize from my current Outback (I say current as I'm waiting delivery to the dealer). I'm not that enamoured by the hybrid idea, due to that extra weight. But it's a Subaru and therefore has heaps of plus over minus.
For normal daily use this car has enough power. Doesnt need to be revved hard. I tested one, gets up to speed perfectly okay in a relaxed manner. Great ride quality, reliability and durability long term. I would like the Outback but its too big for my needs. The XV would be a great town car, motorway cruiser or for rural roads in winter. The battery does provide a useful boost in the same way it does on the Suzuki Ignis hybrid. Pulls well with the electric motor helping out compared to the non hybrid version.

Subaru definitely deserves more credit!

Family car + off-roader 👍

The service level of Subaru here is so low, that this is a no go...
Still make good family cars. Good review as usual.
Many thanks, Mark. Hope you found the review helpful 👍
MILEAGE City & HWY ? WHAT IS. D A B radio. Something like Sirus Satellite Radio ? Does the Boot come with a power lift ?
I liked the registration plate =)
Thinking about buying a used eboxer xv, when did this specification launch? End of 2019 or is this a new 2021 model?
Hi Martin, if you live in the UK we'll be happy to look into this to find the specification that best suits you 👍 Get in touch here: bit.ly/39YHCml
So, the heater / AC controls can easily be used by a "gloved hand", how about the touch screen?
Nice car and nice review.
We're glad you enjoyed it 👍
Lots of hiss on the video
