This is gorgeous!! I really love the water transfer labels and how this one is translucent so you can see the swirling colors. The embellishments are fabulous, as always. 💗
Hi, I absolutely love your designs. I do have a question about the labels and printing them. Do you cut them out of the paper using scissors? They always look perfect and not cut by hand? Thank you in advance
Yes I do. When I sell labels on Etsy I let my cricut cut them because it’s at least a sheet of labels. But when I’m making bottles I just cut them out by hand, sharp scissors and a little patience 😉
Thank you so much for always answering my off-the-wall questions. I made this potion using alcohol and silver and pearl Mica powder. There are teeny tiny bubbles floating from the bottom to the top and ultimately blowing the cork off the bottle. I don't know what is happening. They have blown off several times over the last few days even though I have glued them in with E6000 and used sealing wax. Has this ever happened to you? Do you know what is happening?
I’m not sure however, it may be because you are in too sunny or hot of a location and so the alcohol is heating and creating pressure inside the bottle to shoot the cork off. If you put a weight on top of the cork while you’re gluing it, so that it fully cures usually overnight you shouldn’t have this issue. I will use a lid or plate on top of the cork and then put a weight on top of that so that it really holds it down until it fully cures then you should be good.
Would there be any way to emboss the top with a pretty letter sealer? The ones they used to emboss wax seals on letters I mean. It's beautiful by the way😍
How do you keep the colors from blending? I used alcohol ink in the past, but the mica dyed the ink and it no longer changed color after the first initial shake.
Then your mica must’ve had pigment in it. Unfortunately that will happen no matter how you color the base if there is pigment in the mica (even clear liquid will color with mica pigment). There are 2 types of micas those with pigment and those without. Unfortunately sometimes it’s hard to tell which is which. I always test new mica in a small container before using it in a potion.
I actually thought of an invisibility potion but I didn't think you would like that idea that much. I like this potion bottle too. Do you not think you will use my idea for an instant mind reading potion ?
I actually made a mind reading label for the bottle I made in the tips and tricks video. You can get the label here: cookingandcraftchi.wixsite.com/mysite/single-post/potion-of-mind-reading-for-my-tips-and-tricks-potion-bottle Great idea! 😊
Love this!❤️

Ooh, this is pretty! I love the swirl effect showing through the cloaked figure on the label - very mystical!

Thank you. I'll try that.
Fantastic video and love the glue gun.

Oh you could definitely add a wax stamp to the top.
@@CookingandCraftChick thanks for replying!😊
10:17 Can I use pigment powder ?
Pigment powder will likely color the base liquid so you won’t get the color shift. Mica powder will settle to create the illusion of the shift.
@@CookingandCraftChick Okay..but if I don't want the color change effect, I can use it right?🥺✨
@@justjk7085 yes it should work. I’d test it to be sure.
This is incredible 🤯
Thank you! 😊

Do they ever “expire”
No I’ve had some of my potions for over 7 years and they are all in the same shape. You may get some slight evaporation but that’s it.
I need this for when my wife wants me to do some work! Lol
