To those saying it's not no hit, it actually is. Note that normally, Shadowserg puts (No Damage) in his titles, but in this one, he uses (No Hit). This is because one of the mechanics of the game is a special attack that drains your health a bit when you use it, but also makes you invincible for the duration of the attack. Every time he took damage it was because of this, he never actually got hit.
Being invincible doesn't mean you don't get hit, it means you don't take damage from hits, so that would still be just as inaccurate to this run as no damage. an accurate label would be no ENEMY damage.
MrEasyNah Or this happens to be the run I stumbled on that they have labeled like that. And I don't have to have a problem with something to be able to point it out as being incorrect, it's simply a matter of fact.
During the celebration at 3:22 , where everyone raises their weapons in triumph, you have to love that spear knight on the right who misses the cue and salutes a second late. "HOOOOO!!" "Ho! ... Fuck!"
I loved this game! I was around 10 years old (maybe younger ) when I managed to finish this game with all 3 characters back in the 1990s - I'm 36 now. Perceval was my favourite character because he was a heavy hitter and wielded an axe. (I've always loved axes, finished the 1st "Castlevania" NES game using only the axe power up. I can still remember the final blow I inflicted as I defeated Dracula for the very 1st time... with an axe!) I still find it weird they made the Holy Grail look like a bathroom sink...
When I read "Knights of the Round *(No Hit)"* I justvcouldn't believe it. I HAD to cone see it in person. And, my God... you actually managed to pull it off! Against all bosses!
This Game... Is No Typical Beat-em Up. It's Strategical, RPG, Crazy Old-school Beat-em-up. GOAT, In One Term. The Defense You Make In This Game Seems Easy. But No. I Am Playing This Game While Watching Him How He Does. It's VERY VERY Difficult As How You Make One Move And How You Defend Against Enemy Strikes. And Shadowserg Really Has Outdone Himself. This Game Is Nuts. And The One Who Clears Without Dying ONCE, Is Also Nuts. Great Job, Shadow!
Not only that, but if you make the "block" maneuver too soon and hold it for, like, 3 seconds *your character gets exausted and open for attacks.* Seriously, this game is so insanely hard that I'd be astonished if Shadowserg ever showed a full playthrough of this entire thing! T__T
Yeah I didn't know King Arthur traveled to Japan and fought Bishamon(seriously that's basically Bishamon from Darkstalkers sans the giant face on his armor).
King Arthur and his merry men go through medieval Britain fighting knights, acrobats, a samurai, a mecha to finally confront the guy who united Italy and recover the Holy Grail. That's peak Japan right here
dude i loved this game and my favorite character to play as was arthur but i liked lancelot cuz he was fast and had some cool combo moves as well good job on the bosses run man.
Is it just me or Percival shaved his hair during gameplay time? His picture is the same as in the Snes version, but in the final scene he looks bold and bearded...just like a barbarian.
*You swung on Murmasa before he even got up! Imma use that! *Garibaldi looks like he's riding a pony with big heavy self...poor horsey. 😅 *The soundtrack is BANGING! It's amazing how good the sound quality was of the games of yesteryear.
This game was controller spike worthy because anything over medium difficulty was impossible.... those blue and red squires with the knife would just level you and weren’t even bosses... then all the jump slashing for hours on end... It just became unplayable - Capt Commando and Aliens vs predators will always be my favs
After a long period of violence and battle, England was finally unified by the valiant effort of these three heroes and others like them. Arthur became the first King of all the Britons as Merlin had predicted and Lancelot and Perceval, were welcomed in glory by all the people of the land. King Arthur Believed that he and his knights should meet as equals with no one knight more highly placed than another. Therefore, he devised the round table so that no one should sit at the head of the table. People called them the Knights of the Round and their story is still told today by people all over the world. 7/28/2024
Back then i used to play this on a Arcade machine, i tease other kids who plays arthur as Gay i had trick for getting the 1up as well, ahhh the memories
The random Samurai Skeleton might not have been as out of place if they padded things out with a few more warriors from other cultures, like a gathering of all the scum of the lands. A Viking, Chinese Master Archer, An African Shaman Warrior, etc...
Scorn's laugh is something that puzzles me too, since the game refers it as "The Tall Man" later on the game. Maybe it was supossed to be a woman, but then Capcom reminded what happened with Poison in Final Fight two years before... .
ULTRADJ+ No, Poison appears for the first time in the very first Final Fight , but she was removed from western versions due accusations of "violence towards women" and replaced for a mannered guy called "Sid". Later in order to include Poison in other versions of the game was said she was a transexual. In the last years have been said that she was raised in a female orphanage, so it seems like she was always female.
This comment may be unrelated to the game itself, but I feel that for this game to be remade, we might expect some artwork like that of the Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG, featuring the Noble Knights series, which has a card whose name should have been the appropriate title for this game: "Noble Knights of the Round Table".
He darn sure didnt get hit any thts an accomplishment in its self! Especially considering some of the bosses dam near have a full screen attack....kudos comrade!!!

Alkarym Kaymes IKR! It's so annoying when people say Oh It's NoT nO hit when using self damaging moves in games
Sure looked like he took a hit at 10:27
Being invincible doesn't mean you don't get hit, it means you don't take damage from hits, so that would still be just as inaccurate to this run as no damage. an accurate label would be no ENEMY damage.
Alkarym Kaymes Yeah, and this is far from the only game where he uses this mechanic, yet people only seem to have a problem here.

"HOOOOO!!" "Ho! ... Fuck!"
"Oh look, our boss died! Let's all of us die together!!"
Accurate. Just accurate.
Every beat 'em up does that though.
THIS GAME NEEDS A REMAKE!
he doesnt... it's amazing in this way
Or a game of thrones version....play as jamie, sandor, or brienne in three different campaigns
@@dragonchr15 no please no!!

Garibaldi's horse is absurdly cute for being the villain's steed.
Raoh this is not.
Hey, Kokuoh is plenty cute
Thumbnail Boss - 7:20
Before you comment about him taking damage he uses super moves that drain his health
When I read "Knights of the Round *(No Hit)"* I justvcouldn't believe it. I HAD to cone see it in person.
And, my God... you actually managed to pull it off! Against all bosses!
Funnily enough, the first time I played this game was at a Round Table Pizza. Love and miss this game.
4:20: Balbars, 5:47: Muramasa and 0:25: Scorn are comfirmed as bosses in Final Fight LNS Ultimate!
If only this game had an RPG franchise , it would be great at it times....
Mas Yanto dari Indonesia 🤔🤔🤔
Good Christ this takes me back!!!!! Sigh...it was an awesome game for its time.
i finished this game without even knowing there was a block.
Same here.
Me too.
It's awkward to pull off. Even so, the game must have been a grind for you without the block.
Shadowserg
Best player I've ever seen play ...
This is for all games!
The tune that plays when the link up with Merlin at the end was...serene, smooth, Dope!
I always choose King Arthur. Its good to be the King.

Unless I got some sort of proof I wouldn't be surprised if he has the block mapped to one button. Most likely playing on PC.
Song at the end waiting for Arthur to grab the chalice (before the wall of text) was amazing. Reminds me of 90's smooth jazz and synth...
This game has so many secrets (level ups, 1ups, 2ups) god knows how many
Oh no, you already uploading this game... thanks a lot brother! 24/8/2020
4:20 T-Posing to show dominance at his finesse!
I love the music in these old 16-bit era games. There was such a richness to those compressed tones!
I didn't know they made games like this back then in which you could block.
It was indeed a very rare and underrated mechanic. That factor gives this game much more gameplay depth than more modern beatemups.
Very pro gameplay as always shadowserg
Glorious nippon steel lost? Bakana!
The steel for the best katanas was usually bought from Spain, so yeah, an european sword would beat a japanese one.
DieHard300 it was more of a joke since manga/anime love their japanese katanas
Yeah I didn't know King Arthur traveled to Japan and fought Bishamon(seriously that's basically Bishamon from Darkstalkers sans the giant face on his armor).
otakon17+ Same artists, still, the "Blood soaked armor demon samurai" is a very common trope from japanese folklore in 80's and 90's videogames.
Is this Dark Souls II DLCs?
King Arthur and his merry men go through medieval Britain fighting knights, acrobats, a samurai, a mecha to finally confront the guy who united Italy and recover the Holy Grail. That's peak Japan right here
Very good job...this is the best hack and slash ever made.
He uses the panic attack to AVOID being hit. A health cost and taking damage are two different things.
Not really. He spends health for temporary invincibility when he would otherwise take damage. The net effect is damage, just at a reduced rate.
dude i loved this game and my favorite character to play as was arthur but i liked lancelot cuz he was fast and had some cool combo moves as well good job on the bosses run man.
ah the sound of old arcade game. it always energize me
The last Boss too big for the Horse!! Poor Horsey!!!!! Lmao!!!
Of the round what? Of the round potato? Of the round tomato? As my physics teacher used to say when I had written an incomplete sentence...
I say potato, you say tomato, and suddenly we have a very different pizza.

u lvl up in this game, after some lvl he gets bold and gets beard
You mean BALD.
arcade graphics+snes music= that would be beautiful
Cps1 music sounds better than Snes.
I kind of disagree, to me snes music is better than the arcade
but if you prefer the cps1 music, no problem
Ren Tsukiyomi Agreed. The SNES version of this soundtrack is way better than this.
I had this game when I was a kid. Got to the last boss with the rings. Couldn't beat him lol so funny to see this
didn't know you could block in this game, getting beat up for years lol.
Same. Nearly impossible when you don't know how to block, especially the boss battles
Somebody please tell me WHY Giuseppe Garibaldi is an usurper in King Arthur's court.
