I also went in Dec that year to check it out and was shocked how bad it was. I was born in Seaside and I visit often. I was supposed to be there for my bday (Nov 1st) I could not get off work and thank god for that because I would have been there for this.

Lavallette didn't get hit as bad because they build up their dunes and fence them off. STAY OFF THE DUNES!
