Am from India.. and I follow ur recipes, they are mouth watering 😋. Secondly am a chef too who has spend 13yrs in cayman islands with good trini brother's/ friend's .. I really love the doubles and choka
My mama ( grandma) also made her own masala, I remember seeing her make it as a child however she was unable to share her recipe with me before her passing, your cooking reminds me a lot of her cooking, Thats one of the reasons I love looking at your videos. Its like looking in the pass and also holding on to something that means a lot to me. So THANK YOU for doing what you do...
Awww that's so nice. I'm happy that my cooking reminds you of your mama. Thanks so much for watching! I am so happy that I can bring back lovely memories for you.
Hi. Its always a great pleasure to watch your videos. This is the exact way I make mango talkari. It's simple and tastes yummy. I myself don't use onion and geerah in it. I made some this weekend at two separate prayers and it was indeed awesome.
LOVE it Resh!!!😍💕Thank you for doing the traditional recipes for Divali for us! I like the strong taste of the amchar too and I just love the smell of the kitchen when making this! 😉😉
Thanks for watching! Glad you like! Same here, I love the smell of the kitchen on Divali morning, heavenly! My favorite part is eating all the good food lol
Great video. My mouth still watering. You are just a wonderful cook and hostess too. I love your videos. I will cook this mango masala at our family’s next Lime. I have an East Indian niece who is a vegan so she will love this Trini dish. She was born in the U.K. but her parents came from the Kerala region if Indian. She makes a lovely veggie dish with Indian chapati that is religious and very similar to our choka recipes! You dishes look yummy. Thanks again for sharing. Blessings. 🙏

Learnt something new, will definitely give this a try! We usually just dip pieces of green mango into a mixture of chilli powder and salt, mouth watering snack for summer. Thank you!

Mangoes are the best fruit on Earth as far as I'm concerned, and given the Taste of Trini magic, they can only get better!

Would you say this is more like anchar. I like mines with lots of sauce. But I will make this version and use it as anchar but with lots more pepper.
Yes, it's like amchar. Lol I would have put more pepper if I wasn't giving it away to friends.
Just made this and it tasted great 🇹🇹

Marie Thank you, it was! ☺☺
can you add any water to make a sauce
i love this massala mango just how i like it
:) Thanks for watching!
looks yummy but just asking don't you wash and take out the seeds (white stuff) before boiling
The seeds and clear film on the inside have to be discarded when you cut the mango in half. Sorry, I should've shown it or mentioned it in the video.
Yes, you have to wash any vegetable or fruit before using it. I think that's common knowledge lol
Looks delish!
Thank you!
Love it
Spice 2TnT ☺☺

Taste of Trini Oh gosh! 😃
your title name similar to north indian linguistic language (bhojpuri).
felling to eat this
Nandanie Radhakissoon ☺☺
Is rose mango 🥭 yuh she’s calling Mexican mangoes
Reminds me of trinidad being with my family
Aww, happy to bring back memories!
love from india.
The only thing is i like to use green mango, don't like it when it's to full or ripe
I don't like when it's green because you have to add too much sugar.
Taste of Trini to much sugar is not good, anyway it doesn’t matter how you like, as long as you enjoy it it all that’s matters
I will like to meet you one day ,you are very nice
Hey can you eat this with pholorie? If i make it with the sauce
Amrica Baal Yes, if you thinned out the sauce, it would make for a nice dipping sauce.
Taste of Trini Ok thanks ☺
Great recipe, and you're so cute.
😊 😍 🎈 🍴🍴 🍸 🎈 🌈
