it makes sense that this overwhelms any other theme on screen at the time, the instrument's name is the same as the mech Trombe is the Italian word for Trumpets. the only theme more overpowering than the mere presence of Ratsel is that of a mech who's design has speakers on it.
@aliastheabnormal Anime has so many important events skipped. Notably the Shield and Sword events involving Tasuku(pilot of Giganscudo) and Sanger, amongst many things. Tetsuya is the main character of Great Mazinger. In SRW he is usually potrayed as an exceptional ace pilot, but in any other sources(lot of them that has been included in canon, mind you) he is pushed into crazy levels, one of them have Sanger's looks implying that he is scared of Tetsuya, hes just that insane
@bitrel07 I forgot other SRW Alpha units like GGGG and Dis Astraganaunt. Without the GC, GGGG's nearly god-like power and defense is insane to levels of other units. Besides it took in ton of unrelenting damage from a regeneration "god" that was his opponent and still won in the end, Guy himself is a pilot to acknowledge as he faced death several times but won. He has guts that most other pilots don't have with exceptions to Kyosuke "Luck" Nambu and Sanger "Zankantou" Zombolt.
@alenofbellwood I didn't say it was the strongest ever--others are stronger, but they have their specialties. What Strike Freedom has is the perfect balance between long-range power, close-range power, speed, maneuverability, and defense. Others may be more powerful in a particular category (like the Gundam 00 Raiser being UNPARALLELED in Close-Range Combat :D ), but Strike Freedom is the strongest "all-around" machine.
@screwtokaiba DGG's can deal are big damage in any situation. DGG-XAM3C DyLioOh (DaiRaiOh) and JINRAI (it's predecessor) are shown to have critical power levels. JINRAI has extreme speed while DyLioOh has almost hax power. DyGenGuar's low hit and dodge are replaced by insane attack power, when near the Aussenseiter it can almost 1-hit KO an opponent. Aussenseiter has lower attack but has superior speed and dodge compared to nearly all other mechs in any SRW game.
@alenofbellwood You could make an argument for 00 Raiser (00 Gundam + 0 Raiser) being up there seeing how it pretty much breaks reality with teleports, projects a massive beam saber with a length of at least 100+ kilometers, and the GN particles tend to do more than Minovsky particles. Aussenritter and DaiDenGuard are actually Super Robots, Huckbeins call themselves Personal Troopers so that Tomino dosen't sue their asses just like with Cybuster. And the Lion is an Armored Module, that is basically an OZ Leo with wings, blows up good, and its only contribution was getting Ryuto out of the DC and that fat psycho Nakajima. And even then Ryuto is really lame until he gets the MKIII.
@screwtokaiba Anyway you have to understand that Gundams tech was developed by humans while OG's original tech was derived from the Aerogators systems. Even the black hole engine that the colonies built was unstable until Shu got his hands on one and he comes from a world whose technology is very different and could have used it to fix the BH engine. If Londo bell had to canonically fight evil aliens they would have better stuff lying around.
@bitrel07 Well, technically Tetsuya is the best pilot in Alpha universe, considering that 60 % of Alpha Gaiden plot is related to Tetsuya, and all the absurdity he does he definitely have better guts than Guy, and a far better pilot(for example, Touma become so good in short time thanks to his arranged training schedule). Status wise, Shin getter is usually pretty standard in SRW, not to the broken extend of Kaiser. But Emperor is stronger than anything in Alpha so... yeah complicated

Well, considering SRW has power level that goes into : -Interstellar explosion ? Commonplace weapon -Destroy the planet ? meh not so weird -Destroy a barrier that can defend against an attack from space by Balmar(who has power that is capable to destroy a galaxy), why not ? -Make a dimension hole just by using energy equivalent to punching ? hell yeah Its more like, if not for game balance almost every Gundam looks like a joke in comparison to SRW cast.

Neo Granzon (A. Gaiden, since OG Gaiden he's weaker in that game) whose power can destroy a planetary system in one shot when not even at full power, Astraganaunt which can essentially remove anything from existance regardless of anything, and finally the Dark Brain from OGG.

I don't get it. But basically i meant that Namco wanted to make a SRW with Aura battler Dunbine. But at that time couldnt get approval from the owners so they made Cybuster and the Maki Sendou series to compensate plot wise. Thank goodness since Masaki and Cybuster are far more awesome than Dunbine.

Other than the beam sabers, it is not made for close range combat! (Why do you think we have Infinite Justice? They are sister gundams. And dont even say SF > IJ...the only reason people assume that because Kira is a superior pilot) If any Gundam out there that deserves the title as the best "all-around" gundam, it is Turn A.
Also, the BS that Gundam can go circle around Super Robot. COMPLETE BS Its all game balance. Had SRW used the real speed of the unit, were going to see Shin Getter with 15 movement and 250 mobility considering the fact that Shin Getter at 1/5 power output can fly to outer space in 3-5 seconds. No Gundam can do that so far. And Mazinkaiser with Gundam speed(currently Mazinkaiser speed is slightly lower than GGG) if we consider the KS speed and near imprenetable defense
