I know I'm pretty late to reply to your comment but I kinda need someone to help me out here. So I'd been searching for brow gels and i went to Sephora only for me to get drawn towards Benefit's Gimme brows. Packaging was cute, loved the spoolie... everything was great! I applied it for the first time and my brows looked sooo perfect! However, when i was removing my makeup i noticed that i lost about 4-5 brow hair on that very day. I ignored it and Applied it the next day. lost the same amount of hair the next day as well and I've never lost so many of my brows. I also made sure that while removing my gel i was soaking my brows well and didn't scrub it rather tried to remove it by gentle tapping my pad filled with my make-up remover and tried to gently remove it. To my surprise, i thought that the problem has solved but then when i tapped the pad on my brow for the last time. I found some of my brow hair stuck on it. I LOOOOVED how the gel made my brows look wild and perfect, however i stopped applying the gel ever since fearing that I'd love more of my brows. Do you have any suggestions as to which product i could switch to?
#1 Canmake stayed in place, but closeup, it looked powdery #2 Boybrow, think she got the wrong shade. We dark hair girls need to stick to the darker shades unfortunately. #3 ABH you pay for quality. Love ABH brow products and her eyeshadow palette’s. #4 Tom Ford I might try it when my ABH runs out and TF is still available. I also love Covergirl Natural Lash Eyelash Gel. It’s a clear mascara, that dries true clear if you apply it as the very last step in the makeup process to avoid trapping any finishing powders in the gel. I’ve used this off and on since the 90’s to keep my brows in place and is great for those quick makeup days where you don’t want to spend a whole lot of time on your look, but still look polished. As of 7/2022, it’s currently at $5.44 at my local Walmart. It’s a steal.
I use hair spray. Spray it onto the palm of your hand and spooly onto finished brows. My mom taught me this trick, she's been doing it since the 80s when brows were a thing lol
Oh my GAWD. 9 to 55 bucks for a brow gel. That's insane. Most people don't pay that for a hair gel let alone a brow gel. Wtf. I own a brow business and thats insane. I use got 2 be gel
I cant afford quality products for my brows they're just not that important I use a very thin paint brush dip it the brow color with a little gel from wet n wild and they come out bomb I dont care for fluffy or volume just a nice smooth defined brow

The canmake i think is more targeted for preventing eyebrow pencils or powders from fading throughout the day
