I miss him a lot. I knew that he was old and he wasn't going to live forever, but it always hurts when someone from your childhood dies. Arcadia of My Youth, Space Battleship Yamato aka Star Blazers, and Galaxy Express 999 were my favorites.

i remember being a kid when this movie came out back in the 80's theres that part with the radio free playing as they i think just landed and this song hit i was stuck. i like music alot but i love soundtracks much more just like do you remember love old anime music is classic they dont do it like this anymore truth most of the new movies looks like bad drawn OVA'S

One of the few movies I thought was really good, and while I did like this movie and the 2013 CGI one, I thought this one was the better of the two.
