I was at Kanes returning game (as a Chicago fan) and it was truly amazing to see. When he had his welcome home video, the loudest roar had erupted from the stadium and when Kane scored the ot winner, Chicago fans were cheering for him as well. That’ll be the first and last time we cheer for Detroit.

Patrick Kane’s goal against the Blackhawks as a Detroit Red Wing was GOD TIER! Also, can’t beat that awesome commentary from Ken Daniels and Mickey Redmond!
there are 3 Pavel Bure goals that could be in here arguably. The Gelinas one with Calgary against the Flames was a burn for sure which I saw. Another bad one was Murray Craven for Chicago against Vancouver in 95. Messier against the Rangers in 97-98 in MSG.
Regardless if the Stars won the cup or not, that OT goal I could tell meant a lot more to Duchene on a personal level. I mean lots of Avs fans still hate him to this day for wanting to leave the team all those years ago and since he kinda struggled a bit during the playoffs due to him not playing on the same line he’s used to, damn that series ending goal in Ball Arena must’ve felt good.
