  • Welcome back to our 3 Part Series: "Launching a Mobile RFID Asset Tracking System"
    Part 2 of our series is discussing the Bluetooth RFID Handheld Readers, more specifically, the TSL 1128 and Zebra RFD8500.

    Can they use HID mode and send the BT signal to a BT USB dongle, rather than connecting to a BT via wifi? I need to push single tag reading of a custom UserID field to a BT dongle attached to equipment already programmed to receive RFID tag information when activated.

    Can they be used bluetooth connected to a windows computer in order to feed data to an ERP?

      No, unfortunately these Bluetooth RFID sleds only connect to mobile device running on iOS or Android OS. Thanks for the question!
