First viewer, and on my birthday too! I like the simplicity of the ant. I think if I really wanted it to float for any time, or rougher water I might use a posted hackle under the front gasser. Have you ever tried to put posted hackle underneath. I just strip the lower end of a webby hackle tie it in and make a small loop with the stem and wind the hackle around it. Secure the post and base hackle with a drop of zap and trim the loop after it is dry. Great way to float a terrestrial. All the best to you, Sean
