Enjoy you tutorials because you give us enough tech info without being long winded

Thanks for the comments, Peter; I'm glad that I am able to get the correct information across. I try my best not to be TOO long-winded, and enjoy giving background information, ways to fish the pattern, etc. during every tutorial. Thanks again for the kind words. TC

Thanks, +George Semel, and great comments as always! That range you mentioned is a great time to be out, and it's almost embarrassing how few others there are (though I'm not complaining!). Thanks for commenting, and I hope all is well. Tim

Nice tie, I have the same book but I haven't told anyone about it. Thought it was my secret at least here in Maine.
I have looked at the stonfo vise and the other tools. I still have not found the small hackle plier. Not available to the retailers I regularly use. Hope it will be available soon. Thanks for sharing, All the best to you and the wife, Sean

Thanks for the kind comments, Sean, and that book is a decent one for sure! There are a lot of great tips and techniques in it, and I'm glad to hear you are using it, too. If I hear anything about the smaller hackle pliers, I will let you know. Thanks again...Tim

Well now is the best time of the year for trout fishing, mid Aug till the start of rifle Deer Season, any way at least for me, its also Ant-beetle and hopper time till the first hard frost, and in my fishing till I go to sink tips and zonkers and wooly buggers, its my old Scott 8' 2 wt, water it thin and even here in CT if you know were to go, you can catch all the wild brook trout and some good wild brown trout too and not see a soul around! Leave the phone home, pack a lunch and spend a day on the stream, lot of times I just carry one box of flies a rod some tippet in a fanny pack, above all you have to be willing to do some walking!
