Years ago when I was a student my second time up we were doing steep left turns in a 150 and my door swung open. Scared the hell out of me, I look back and laugh now but at the time ...man that was rough, only my second time in the air.
My father owns a 1979 that has the harvest gold with...yes; the Shag Carpet. About 2/3 of my passengers have earned the Cessna Diamond, too! This is so accurate...

Mike Whiskey was as old as my parents, but she was well maintained 182 with a few small aftermarket conversions, so she was perfectly good airplane. Speedy taxi performance and good climb rate. I can't say much about the landing, as the skydiving instructor pushed me out before we got to that phase of flight.
As a proud owner of a ‘64 182, this hits close to home. Especially the ash trays. And the easy closing door. And the interior. And....everything else. What a riot.
I primarily trained in a 172, but did my night requirements in a 182. I love the 182 and would love to own one but I like the 177 the most. Thanks for the Vlog! Be well!

But I have had the diamond forehead decoration a time or two for sure. I think if I look closely I can still see the imprint in the mirror. The scariest part was the possibility of Richard Simmons going along for the ride. I'm pretty sure there will be no chocolate chip cookies from Janis Parr after this.
I love my wind deflector 2000 extreme it actually opens automatically winter or summer got to appreciate Cessna automation. Plus the Cessna diamond is no problem for my short, eh height challenges. Got the six ashtrays too, one for every passenger all six of them ......well with the O-300 you can carry all you want ....even on hot days......once. lol, love these videos keep em coming.

I need to invest in a 182. I have strong reservations against flying without Wutang Clan in the back seat, and my puppy seems to have evolved into a full-fledged dog and will no longer fit in a FDCT.
