Bro I've watched this video so many times because I'm saving to buy one of these things and your excitement (and tones) just have me feeling so stoked to get back into having a live rig.
Duude what a nice comment that was 😁👌 I can imagine how you feel, I was also sooo excited when I finally decided to get one. Let me know if I can help out when you have it! Cheers
Thank you for the vid, man. Question: at what point do I start to get riffs? Cause I have 0 riffs right now. Does the reverb on the QC help with that? I hear that the reverb on the Kemper from 15 years ago is better. Please advise.
Hmmm I think you might‘ve run out of riffs my friend. I hear that buying a new guitar helps with at least 6 consecutive riffs. And playing it through a quad cortex is obviously adding 2 more. Whereas playing it through kemper gives you 4 additional vintage style riffs. So you have to make the choice 😂😂
Thanks for your comment :-) In the last couple of presets I created for myself I used only 1 mic. But in the past I was also using two, which also sounds great :-D I think it's always something to mix and match and see what happens. Cheers
Really don‘t have an answer for that mate. I split the signals so I have more room blocks to be added into the chain. But why I split the cab section, no idea. Like that sound better for a while 😂 currently going with 2 cabs again. Cheers Buri
what are the benefits to building a preset with this layout? I typically just use 1 line and a few blocks call it a day but im looking to build a full blown preset. just new and curious what this layout allows
@@CorpseChords from what I read and learned, the quad cortex has 4 cores that do the work. 2 are taking care of the top two lines and the other 2 are taking care of the bottom two lines. So you are manually dividing the workload that the cores have to calculate.

What are you clicking to assign to a scene? It’s only just out of shot on the screen capture 10:42
Ah sorry for that mate,
Basically I right-click and say „assign to scene“ and then either activate or bypass it.
Hellyeah! Live use is always different than studio. Thanks dude. Do you always use 1 mic position?

Thx man 🎉🎉
You‘re very welcome 🤙😁
Luv u 🫰🏻
The layout looks like the way Josh De La Victoria has his in a recent video. Was that the inspiration?
Yes totally, the whole video idea was inspired by him. Never thought of doing the layout this way but thanks to him I know now 😁💪
@@buricaliskan Same! Never thought of setting it up like that either.
