He did not say that. He said he was quoting the former editor of the New scientist. Maybe that's why he is 'former' editor. Not everyone has to be interested in science.
+Ottho Heldring How can you live in the world and be uninterested in anything about it? Because science is the study of what things are, how they work, etc. Saying you aren't interested would make you about as passive as a jellyfish, content to float wherever the current takes you, never wondering about anything.
+patricio bueno It was the first of three annual conferences called "Beyond Belief" in La Jolla, California, starting in 2006. I attended all three days of the first one, got to meet everyone who was there and remember this and many other brilliant moments like it was yesterday. It was one of the most enjoyable experiences of my life! The conversations went by rapidly, no one had to explain their jokes and *nobody* talked about sports!
The people who believe in God the most are atheists....they keep responding to Gods two general revelations written in the Book of Romans ....they keep asking Why si there so much evil in the world (recognizing moral reality) and then they keep getting involved in science ...because it is fascinating discovering more and more design, order and organization in the universe. (Gods revelation through the natural world) thanks "atheists" (this is where everyone starts having a tantrum and name calling ---->
The slower version is for the religious people

Those last two repeats were annoying.
He say it like a sir
Richard dawkins is a bad ass!!!
Dawkins recounted this in his autobiography.
Damn Dawkins dropped some real shit right there
"Now I don't want you to beat around the bush like you usually do Richard..."
My favorite 😢❤😊 I agree on everything that is has and will ever be.

love love
Comment born out of the frustration of not bearing fools gladly!!
Love Tyson, love Dawkins, love hitchens, love reason, love logic
An excellent message
Calls Dawkins ignorant and uneducated... Laughs that the irony.
He says 'fuck' like a person who's only semi-familiar with the word; like he's heard others use it but never himself :)
Ah, bless! (:-))
Doctrine of devils?
I forgot my fedora
I just kidding. I love science & Dawkins.
Svinece is interesting as it explores reality - the truth. Ignore it at your peril!

Science is interesting and if you don't agree you can copulate...so that's why the global pop is rising exponentially....

+Ottho Heldring not everyone only those with a semblance of an inquisitive brain in their heads which may not include u with this stupid remark

If you are editor of New Scientist and youre counting in people who are not interested in science as your audience, you can fuck off.
holy shit... you just destroyed him. Wait a minute, ill bring a spoon to pick up his remains.
the 'highly successful' former editor
Upvoted... Then removed due to the stupid slowmo repeat at end.
If you look at it that way, I guess you're technically correct. the best kind of correct :)
Does anyone know the name of the entire conference?
no, but I see Neill DeGrasse there as well, might help with your search.
+patricio bueno It is called "The Science Network" (TSN)

Well, 9 months later not a single atheist has responded to you. Possibly because your opening ten words defeated anything else you typed after them.
Dawkins' methods were fine. Tyson's "Cosmos" sucked ass. There you have it.
Gladly. No sane person finds it interesting
#notinterested
Yeah I think I will stick to my Christian beliefs. That comment was just plain rude and inappropriate.
Not as rude as the inquisition
@@sjstu HAHA!
You're correct though.
Lots of neckbeards here.
