Fronius should better at informing that there also is a web browser portal for the Symo setup process. My PC and Smart phone application got stuck in a loop in the setup process that I could not get past (and there's no article or help on it either). If it weren't for this video, I would have a lot of trouble setting up my inverter.
After adding a fourth 27kw Fronius ECO, i saw that all of them including the Datamanger needed an update. Now after the updates the system shows off line (although it is still running) what could the problem be...
I have a Primo 5KW Invertor and a smart meter, been working great but now I don't get the current power in the app or solar web it only gives me the production and consumption so I know the network connection is correct. Is it a smart meter fault?
Really horrible. I had two other sets of written instructions and none of the three were correct in themselves. I suggest new Fronius owners always force their installers to do the set up before being paid.

If a router and local network is required at setup, can I make it so that the inverter will work with a public ip after setup, for instance by setting a static ip?
Hello! Thanks for your interest in Fronius! For initial commissioning of the Datamanager 2.0 via LAN a router and local network is required. Then there are two possibilities in the wizard where you can select a static of dynamic IP address - depending on the network and purpose. By default there is a dynamic IP chosen. Until recently it was a paid app and we provided the Solar.web Live app as a free alternative for monitoring your PV system. As both apps are free to use now it’s up to you which one to use. Are u sure that all fronius invertors work in symmetrically on all 3 phases mode? Local fronius service anwsered me that fronius can make a diff at phases power generation... I'm confused

This should give you an cost advantage, when using multiple SnapINverter products since only one Datamanager Card is needed per System.
