Thank you for your question. There are, if I am not mistaken, a total of 4 nuts or bolts that can be removed easily, which hold the cover in place. Some body stretch needs to be performed though.
thank you for the reply. I have all the bolts out. I can move it around, but there’s just not enough space to get out. I didn’t know if there was a trick again thank you very much for the reply. I like your videos very much.
Of course the air-box is real menace & previous work done broke many pieces. Battling Black plug due to those snap back fasteners were also snapped off . I’m attempting the full snake main coolant hose due to micro fracture at the 4 way intersection that is literally under the obtrusive AIRBOX !!! Any tips friend ?
@@MichaelLifeof.. you have undo the engine mount and put a wood board under the oil pan and jack the engine up. Be carful. That should give you a little more room to get the air box out. Still takes a lot of wiggling
@@MichaelLifeof.. Thank you for your message. In order to easily remove the computer/ ECU-box, you can do as follows: Disconnect the battery (first the - than the +); Remove the vacuum hose (connected by different clips); Remove the vacuumpump (near the ECU-box, vacuum hose is also connected to it); Remove the right cover in front of the ECU-box (slide upwards); Remove the two clips holding the wiring (on the side of the ECU-box); Gently push these wirings aside; Remove the large pipe to the turbo, behind the ECU-box; Gently lift the ECU-box to remove from holders; Wiggle the ECU-box to the right, while gently pulling upward. Both these wiggling and pulling must go simultaneously. Hopes this will help you out.
How do you get the exhaust manifold cover off????
