We will need different skills, and we will need to get much better at driving change - or we will be driven by it. Most importantly, we should embrace technology but not become it. Anything that can be digitized or automated, will be - and anything that cannot be digitized or automated will become extremely valuable. We must go beyond technology to define real human values in this new digital ecosystem.

Excellent video. As an educator, I've grown to understand this fact. However I find it difficult to convince some students, and even colleagues, of the urgency and repercussions of not appreciating this reality and adapting the needed mindset and implementation through action to capitalize on the significant opportunities that these challenges present.
'Humanity is where true and last value is created' - the real challenge is to ensure that this value is created for the benefit of all humanity and not just the few.

Well, I´m buying every 10 eyars 3 new humans in India, I make their live much richer and heltier, in comparisn to their status before. Once I´ll need some parts, their sacrificion will contribute to humanity much more than their pointless live and my earier death. Is that what you meant?

Came here because our professor required us to watch this and based from what I've understand, as human beings, we should be able to identify ourselves as one of the creators of this digital transformation and not be the one who's influenced by it. What are the things that we can do and can't do from the inventions that we kept on doing. Together, let's become the people who will control the technology and not be the one being controlled by technology.

Bravo, Gerd. Good enough is indeed dead. Technology-driven exponential change is already upsetting the workplace. The challenge now is to quickly update, upskill and uplift the workforce to learn new ways of working, abandon old habits, and practice a new workplace paradigm simultaneously with all others in the enterprise.
This was shown in our class i was so inspired and almost cried, the words just get to me... I don't know how to explain this feeling..

Exceptional video! After 35 years as a Financial Advisor, I'm taking courses in Robo Investing, Blockchain, cyber-currencies and see that my field is changing super fast! Many other advisors are just retiring or are married to their old ways. NOT me! A kaleidoscopic view f the shape of things to come and how we need to work as employees, employers, entrepreneurs, activists, administrators, scientists, doctors, engineers, management professionals, political leaders and others. The only thing which I keep thinking is the impact of the rapid pace of Digital innovations and transformations shall have on third world nations - India, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Pakistan . They have a huge populace of over 160 crore people and how many of these can be employed and jobs created for the youth and the jobs getting replaced and joblessness becoming a societal challenge. - ,

Part of being involves having an opinion. Most people have opinions, and because we all carry biases, nearly half of us will be wrong in our opinions. Because sometimes our biases cause us to have false opinions, our fear and greed impulses get triggered and we say and do stupid things. This is partly why our news and information is so terrible today. If you believe the false news, and are hooked into a narrative, then it either makes you think irrationally, or even mentally ill. There is a lot about "Being" that is way overrated. Unless we can learn to respect other peoples opinions, then "Being" is not worth very much. At that point, we all lose our liberties.
