Hey Steve , just finished my evening meal whilst watching this excellent edition . So you can retire with all this rare booty! OK - big fan of Automatic Man and you can hear the influence of Todd Cochran on the Carl Palmer PM album , Automatic Man what an unusual band , quite poppy but also some space rock /fusion . I have the UK live in Boston that you showed - the easy to find version and I 'm still looking for that Live Triumvirat , I think the recording is the same one as on TH-cam but I 'd like a CD version . Be well my friend .
Sometimes it is fun to go through a collection and choose a different kind of theme. These CDs are sometimes in and out of print so quickly you just can’t find them. New rereleases of bigger albums seem to come out every few years, but some of these lesser known albums may never see the light of day again. Get them while you can! Automatic Man is such a unique take on prog. An unusual feel to it indeed, but it is such a fun album. I meant to mention PM and it slipped my mind although I haven’t listened to it yet. Thanks for tuning in. I have some more ideas to hit a broad spectrum of lesser known bands in future projects. Always a pleasure to get your much appreciated thoughts!
