I was okay with bad ending tbh, I was expecting it from directors first vision. And it's quite alluring too; the concept that he'll become the devil God no matter what and end everything with him. But I don't understand these "goodbye" stuffs. It was still good for Meng Yi and Sang Jiu, because their love story was different. Sang Jiu is just that pure, naive fangirl who felt betrayed. For Tantai Jin and Li Susu, this half hearted stuffs are just killing the viewers wishful expectations! We burn for them just to get this! It felt so wrong! They themselves felt wrong, how are we supposed to feel? I would prefer they couldn't able to resist each other and do bad things to each other in a happy mood or even better if they enjoyed doing evil things together. He's the devil God and she's quite devilish to him, so it would have been a treat to watch. But they ruined it badly. Even though we're wooing over devil god, somethings are just always bad. Worst is half-hearted love making.

This ending was so confusing. They used so much clips for the end when she was killing him. Instead, of that scene they could've given us a happy ending. Poor tantai jin, his fate never changed. He still became the devil God despite going through all that pain. Plus where did the child come from? From what they've shown us tantai jin and susu never had the time to get intimate so all of sudden she's left with a child and he's just gone. So dissapointing for such a great start.

He was a rising actor after Ashes of Love but then... 😔😔😔 As his fan, I still don't understand why he chose to do that to himself. He should know better the consequences he was going to get as he is the people there. But the damage had been done. Up until now, I still wonder which Xian Xia he will be in if he's still acting now

When did China start limiting to only 40 episodes? I swear there is a current drama at like 130 episodes and still ongoing. Hopefully tteotm will be like the blue whisper. See if it took off well and then finish it with a second season.

Want to see more strory about ye xiwu n tantai jin version, how ridiculous their relationship is. How about pianran n ye qingyu? Commotion is their love language. Please, let us see their happiness. Even the end of Ye Bingchang's story, is she able to change destiny and unite with Xiao Lin? I hate ye bingchang, but xiao lin love her so much.
The way I see it is because unlike the other gods his powers come from suffering and the negative stuff from the world. I think he wanted to destroy all the positive energy because then everyone would suffer the same and it wouldn't be unfair. Well that's my take from the story.
I think Tantajin is still present in the Devil God and is subliminally cheating him with negative words making him think he is on his side, and will give Susu more power as his wife so they can kill the devil bone
I didn't understand why ancient devil God and mingye looked the same.. Are they twin brothers or something? And when tantai jin didnt have immortal bone as a mortal in ep 5 I think how he could able to activate sketch charm??? ... (So I drive my own conclusion to it may be tantai jin is originally the incarnation of mingye but ancient devil God choose him as his devil fetus.. That's why tantai jin have both little amount of God power with huge amount of devil power and also hurt guarding scale always protect and listen to tantai jin.. Heart gaurding scale was from mingye's body originally) .. But still question is there how come 3 of them look alike??... And also they say evil bone can't be destroyed.. Even ancient gods couldn't destroy it.. But then at the end tantai jin destroyed the evil bone.. And when li susu become goddess( was it happened in subconscious world)next scene was li susu at tantai jin's tomb as an immortal.. There are alot of unanswered questions... Except for tantai jin's part of subconscious inside the heart guarding scale which he mentioned he left for li susu before... Every thing is quite confusing in this last episode..
