    Dude this was so well done. Great job! I ain't go lie but ending almost got me emotional lol. Larson been a driver I been following since his K&N days and I knew he was gonna be my driver when he got to cup. He's come such a long way. Super proud of him and it's such a great feeling to see my favorite driver win a championship

    Agree with all below; awesome video. Been watching/following Nascar since Jeff Gordon came on the scene racing his warrior 24 car. Who (of all humans) have not made a mistake . . even a huge one? we ALL have (myself included.) So happy for our Nascar Champ Kyle Larson. We all deserve a second chance, especially a great guy who made one, dumb mistake.

    Great video! 2021 was such an amazing year for Larson! Technically joining the old 48 team, that how he became my driver! 10 Wins, All Star Race, Championship, just a great year and comeback!

    I have no clue how Larson didn’t get hurt in his 2015 nationwide crash

    Now think about all the races he won that year in other dirt series races.

    Larson deserved it, He managed to overcome that situation and win the championship the following year.

    This guy could've been the next Skyler Page, the next Chris Savino, the next Justin Roiland, the next John K, or the next Kyle A Carrozza but he has certainly proved us wrong these past five years and that is certainly something to be proud of!

    just add the chillie bowl, Knoxville nationals, kings royal, prairie dirt classic, bc39, and more, some of the most prestigious dirt races in the country and the 2021 all star race totalling 30 victories in 89 starts 4 different cars in 7 different series and this year will go down as the single greatest year for a driver in motorsports history (yes watched this a 2nd time a year later)

    Great video. The greatest comeback story is for sure the 5 car...but it happened in 1996 and it is Terry Labonte winning his second Cup after not performing after his 1984 Championship title run. PS Larson is my driver now!!

  • @daniakira
    @daniakira 2 ปีที่แล้ว +8

    He was “dealt a bad hand?” He faced the consequences of his own actions and damn near almost somehow got rewarded with a drive from a top team. Mark Martin’s comeback in that same 5 car is more honorable than Larson’s story

    • @lorddrac_dontaskmetodance
      @lorddrac_dontaskmetodance 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      That's because Martin was already well-established. Plus, divers and athletes in other sports should be selected for their talent, not their ideologies. We literally saw a dude commit vehicular manslaughter late this last year and only got a one race ban. Why should Larson be eliminated from an entire season because he said a bad word?

    • @daniakira
      @daniakira 2 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      @@lorddrac_dontaskmetodance the fact that you’re trying to reduce the incident as a mere “bad word” is ridiculous. He said a racial slur that is completely unacceptable, that he knows VERY WELL has no business being in his vocabulary. It was a word used in hate throughout our history by some very bad people. You have to remember these are world class athletes that aren’t just people but representatives of NASCAR to the world with a large platform. And you’re comparing apples to oranges, the other incident you brought up is an entirely different argument. Do I think he should be denied a second chance? Not really. But does he deserve praise because he landed in a top team after literally SAYING A RACIAL SLUR. Absolutely not. How he even ended up as a championship contender should be shameful. NASCAR has been making strides to promote diversity and take a hard stand against any racial prejudice. Larson put a bad face to the sport, and that should not be overlooked.

    • @djmohab2
      @djmohab2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@lorddrac_dontaskmetodance shut the fuck up, you racist piece of shit. "Vehicular manslaughter"? When this sport worships Godhardt's dirty driving? Larson even admitted he wrecked Bubba and he was going to have every right to be pissed. Hard R was driving over his head all year and finally someone had enough of his shit.

      All sins are viewed by God as terrible. Therefore any sin is just as terrible as another. Don’t throw stones when you live in a glass house. You have sinned, I have sinned, Larson has sinned and so has everyone else.

  • @robinpatty3408
    @robinpatty3408 ปีที่แล้ว +5

    Kyle Larson is not Nascar's greatest comeback! Ernie Irvan is Nascar's greatest comeback he came back from a near fatal accident at Michigan Speedway where he was given a 10 percent chance of living from a basisular skull fracture to be back in a racecar a year later! And then the next year to win two races and to win at Michigan Speepway the next year!

    Framing this as some sort of inspirational comeback is laughable. He said a racial slur and ended up getting promoted to arguably the best seat in the field. He is immensely talented but miss me with this shit.
