    I'm the extremely happy owner of exactly the same gorgeous bike but black and gold and with a "Devil" three in one exhaust. I was and am her first and proud owner since more than thirty years. I cannot part with her, I simply can't. She never, ever let me down and has over 230.000km on the clock and still runs as smooth as when she left the showroom. For me, and I know it's weird, she has now officially acquired a soul and getting rid of her now would be an unforgivable crime in itself. She will remain perfect long after I'm gone and be remembered as the better-looking-Ducati-that-actually- worked.
    Please take care of yours...

    I am loving my VFR750F (RC36) more and more every day in this rapidly changing modern motorcycling world. It does everything I want with a character, pure quality and awessome style.

    My first love the RC-24. That sound and power screaming racing legacy. No other interceptor had that. Even RC36 was toned down quite a bit. Way better handling, but not so wild power as 24 had.

    I had one of those, an 88 model, the year it got 17" wheels and a fuel gauge. Pretty good bike but it had one major problem: the thin tyres combined with the huge slab of plastic fairings meant that you got blown around really easily on the motorway.

    2nd gen vfr750 looks cool... But my 93 vfr750f (same color) just has that kick ass look with sweeter body curves...not to mention the gear driven cams that are rock solid design perfection and in my opinion the dual headlights give it a more modern streamline look while the single headlight kind of looks goddy...I average anywhere from 2 to 10 compliments a day on the 3rd gen beauty... vfr's rule... He he

      86-89 VFR 750's had gear driven cams as well.
      Both body styles are pretty good looking. The 90+ start to get edgy and modern looking. Not everyones cup of tea.

    I don't think that I will sell anything from my VFR in the near future. You know, I love her!
    Try ebay, should help you getting what you need.

    StockCar, did you remove the carb limiters to get the full 100HP?

    • @StockcarTV
      @StockcarTV  10 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      At the time I did the video the engine was reduced to 34 hp anyway so I left them in. Now that I can ride it with its full power, I removed the litte limitor which limited it to just under 100 hp for insurance reasons. Now it has the full 105 horse powers.

      The Australian model I had was built before they restricted them here in Australia...had 108hp as standard here...I built a 4 into 1 for it, and got another 6hp...I also changed the rear sprocket for touring, and that let me be able to change up to top gear at 220kph ;)

    A quick lesson on how you shouldn't ride in your own town, get out and find some fast roads and not attempt to kill some poor kid playing in the street.
