To celebrate its 75th anniversary, FIFA invited the two best teams of the time. Argentina and Holland were the champions and runners-up in the last Cup, respectively.
The friendly took place in Bern, Switzerland, on May 22, 1979. In addition, it was the young Maradona's first game on European lawns. The match ended 0-0, with the South Americans winning 8-7 in the penalty shootout.

Simon Tahamata made his debut for Holland I think in this match and was as impressive as Maradona. It was incredible the game ended 0-0 in normal time.
