One thing I love about you guys is how authentic you are, and you're realistic about what you can afford even if it means missing out on "content." I think that's actually aspirational, compared to people who pretend they're rolling in more cash than they are. 👍🏽

I simply adore you both. You make such an awesome couple. What I’ve really learned from your channel is that people are basically the same all over. The majority of people just want to live in peace and to enjoy their life. It also shows you just how little you need to have an awesome life. Material things are just things. They are not what matters in life. How you treat others and what you do and say lasts longer then you think. So be kind. It doesn’t cost anything. Very unfortunately you have made some wrong conclusions: for example, sociological surveys show that the majority of people in Russia support the war in Ukraine. So no, the majority of people do not want to live in peace, or at least not in all countries.
I can’t understand anyone hating you. Your videos are so down to earth. It’s nice to see genuine people, who are not begging for money or being someone or something they’re not.
I miss your baking videos Julia and I would love to see you incorporate that into your food videos. I’m sure it would be difficult to try and hook up with someone but I really enjoyed, I think it was Armenia, when you made the bread that was stuck to the side of the oven.

In my humble opinion you have met and exceeded your goals of making people laugh and showing us that we really are the same as people. By setting and surpassing your goals you have allowed this 58 yo disabled female to see places I didn’t even know existed. For that, I for one, am eternally grateful.

Matt and Julia, my advice to you both is to just carry on as you are, you are doing a great job (50k+ subscribers can't be wrong). Your travelogs are a wonderful window to the lesser visited regions (by those in the western nations) and to what they have to offer, especially for those of us who may never have the opportunity to travel to these destinations. Bravo and a big thumbs up from me cheers!

I'm older, retired. You struck a chord when you talked about traveling and your passion. I always wanted to go to England and Germany (I live in the US). For fifty years I always put it off for financial reasons, lack of traveling partner, or some other minor thing that - in my imagination - seemed to be a higher priority at the time. Now I can travel anywhere in the world, and I don't want to. Germany and England have slipped through my fingers. Last September I went to Alaska for two weeks and did about everything you can possibly do in Alaska; the best food, the best lodging, all of the tours, mountains and wildlife galore from the air, land, and water. It was fine, but it was in no way the great adventure it would have been when I was younger. Passion has a "best by" date and you need to make it a priority when it's right, within reason of course. Carpe diem.

Your channel has great content from lovely people. I’ve been working through your “from the beginning” playlist and you can see where I am now. I watch a lot of TH-cam while I am working. Well, listen mainly and something I noticed about your channel is I never feel like you are being fake for the camera. You are both so genuine, no put on for the camera. When you said to pity those who leave hate comments it really touched me. I am a former vlogger myself and the hateful comments always affected me more than they should have. I look forward to more videos from exciting places ❤️

You know (about the hateful comments), sometimes it gets to me, I'm worse than Matt in that way. It's not the hate towards me to be honest, it's the people that constantly correct you. So many experts! You can't do or say anything 'right'. Everything is such a big deal. When you want to show something interesting or simply have a laugh - you will always offend someone for whatever reason they can pick on or you won't do something the correct way. Don't chew, eat, breath, walk the 'right' way. And the negativity that people have towards each other gets to me, upsets me when people starts arguing between each other.
I'm not gonna lie and pretend that it's always easy to ignore it. Which to be fair is so unimportant and petty. But sometimes you just can help how you feel. I guess it makes us feel that way because we would never do that to anyone and don't get in my head why would you even want to. I can't imagine how many people are being put off from putting themselves out there, or feel like they have to put a fake mask on.
When I feel bad about it all, I'm just trying to be reasonable and think that nobody who is in there right head or a happy life would feel the need to write something horrible online. So they are definitely not worth anyone's time, there are so many lovely people out there like yourself, who's worth engaging and having a chat with.

My son-in-law is Russian, also from Siberia like Julia, although he has lived in Australia for a number of years. After I saw your video of Kalmykia, I told him about it and what a beautiful place it is. His reply was, "Where is Kalmykia?" He hadn't heard of it before. It never occurred to me that not all places in Russia are known to its citizens. I thought it was a bit strange. I love you guys, by the way. You come across as so genuine.

Matt you are from Crawley. I was in Crawley in July 2013 and it was a quiet town and yes I do notice the huge indian food popularity is amazing even in that town. I was there when England was beating Australia in the cricket so I kept quiet about my alligance to Australia. 😀😃😄

Julia is 25 year old and married for seven years wow ! That very early and Julia I was so young ! Why not live together instead married! Marriage is just paper ! If you dreaming to go Antarctica try to visit Greenland! With the capital Nuuk definitely you will feel like in Antarctica !
We love being married 😀😊 also, we wouldn't be able to live together if we weren't married becuase of the visa rules (it's a really long story haha)

Is very hostile environment but you can see lots Arctic life animals including polar bear! The Air Greenland fly from Copenhagen to one small town in Greenland we’re is airport and you have to connect by air any place you like to visit! Good luck 😉
