The S & Wesson model 29 with the 6.5" barrel did have the slide safety on it in the"Dirty Harry" movie, it was suggested in the documentary it did not.
Added this beautiful bit of kit to my collection one week ago, and have now watched 'Dirty Harry' 5 times again! 😳 A stunning replica. Only gripe I've got with mine (UK pellet version) is the total lack of power at an average 1.3 ft lbs. I know its for target and plinking, but it would have been nice to have had it at least the 2.0 to 2.5 ft lbs region. But on the whole an absolute must for your collection. 😎👍 Keep safe!
This is a beautiful revolver. I'd love to get my hands on the 6 1/2" barrel version but from all that I can tell, that's only available in the UK. Bummer.
on the new s&w is a hammerblock that can be set at safe when stored ,you can not fire the gun then.child safety . i dont like a safety on a handgun. if you store it no ammo in the gun and stored it separate
I’m around 1.9 fpe with the 8.5” barrel, it’s not intended to have more power. It’s a replica pistol. What do you plan on doing that needs that extra power? I don’t modify CO2 guns at all myself.
@@northballistics It just would have been nice to have it somewhere near the power level of all my other air pistols that's all. And maybe able to target shoot at farther distances. Thanks more your reply. 👍
Accurate at only 7 yards ???? Of course it must be accurate at that distance !!! What's not accurate at 7 yards??????? (Two meters and half )😂😂😂😂🤦🤦🤦🤦🤦 Is it a joke ? And maybe.. I said MAYBE at 10 -15 yards (from 3 to 5 meters 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤭🤭 yes, definitely a joke.... 🤦🤦🤦🤦🤦🤦🤦🤦, What a pity.. cause it is a nice replica, but under the functional point of view I think it is quite disappointing 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
@@northballistics I was gonna buy it, hmmmmmm.. but I'm changing my mind...🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔, In some video you see it's 4 Joule (if you shoot pellets) in other vids they say it's just 2,3 joule, I'm not sure honestly.. and i like shooting at glass jars.. it's sooooooooo fun.. but is this revolver accurate and powerful enough to do this at 10- 12 meters? Honestly.... (33 yards )...🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔

Excellent comment thank you Richard!
Yes, and it had a magazine as well if you looked carefully. And Callahan was not dirty there at all. He looked quite showered.

Definitely need to add this one to my Airgun Collection. Thank You
Thank you for watching, it’s well build and beautiful. You won’t regret it.
Can confirm this revolver is amazing .
This is a beautiful revolver. I'd love to get my hands on the 6 1/2" barrel version but from all that I can tell, that's only available in the UK.

It’s only available in airsoft in North America in that size as far as I can tell.
Good stuff air buddy..
Thanks Doug !
8&3/8 inch barrel.
A real one with that barrel length would weigh around 3lbs, not just over 4lbs. The 6.5" barrel version is around 2.75lbs... so pretty close.
I had looked it up and it said 4lbs, but I just looked it up again to check my work, and you’re bang on. Good catch!!!
If you look at the m29 images of Umarex, there is a video that uses plastic bb, is it a different SPAC from the product that uses metal bb?
Yes, there is an Airsoft (plastic bb) and Steel BB versions. Two different units

They're always setup for the lowest common denominator. :)
The 5 inch barrel one on evike has a black grip and I was wondering if the grips could be switched out for the imitation wood ones
Not sure. I’ve not seen that version.
Does anyone know if this can be power increased for the UK pellet version?
1.3 is way too low. 😪👎

@@MrJames19676 these things aren’t designed to go past say 7M, 1.3 does seem low compared to mine. What barrel length do you have?
@@northballistics
6.5 inch.
That may be the difference. I find the shorter the barrel the more wasted energy.

If you’re 5 meters away, and you’re still shooting groups… all the power to you.
@@northballistics the problem is that (as it's already been said..) it seems to be quite underpowered

What’s up with this ridiculous childish response?
