One think I'll never tell her though is that just one of the things I was bullied for was her being gay. It was rough. I'm glad you realized you used it as a defense..I was never that strong.
I can kind of relate, in 3rd grade I was bullied and I never told my mom till I was in a new school in 5th grade. It sucks. Honestly kids are cruel. Bullies are self esteem killers.
