Question: You mention freezing an extra one if you double the recipe. Is it cooked then frozen or frozen without cooking? I'm the main cook for my family and I love to cook but, I'm disabled with a chronic illness and I have "bad"days that are harder for me to cook a good meal. I try to always have a quick and easy option in my freezer that doesn't take any prep or babysitting. Or, that another family member can just throw on the stove or in the oven. These casseroles look awesome and it would be so helpful to make several on a "good" day.
Julia, I should also add that aluminum was used in deodorants for decades, and now it's been proven to cause breast cancer. Please look for deodorants THAT DO NOT CONTAIN ALUMINUM. It will be marked on the container. Often marketed as "natural" product.

Hi Julia, I just want to say that your channel saves lives! As a student I'm usually in a brain block on what to cook for dinner. Your recipes are so easy to follow and inspire me to keep cooking. Thank you!
I’ve come to love pasta recipes that cook in the oven without the pasta getting cooked first. They’re so easy to put together and the pasta still has a normal texture!
I'm the same way. I'd never heard of such a thing until about 25 years ago when a friend who worked as a camp cook, meaning that she had to cook for very large groups, showed me how she made lasagna with dry noodles. It tasted and looked fantastic and was so easy and quick to assemble. Another good trick I've learned, for smaller pasta, is I boil the same amount of water as the amount of pasta I want to cook (like 2C of water to 2C of dry macaroni for a yield of 4C of cooked macaroni), then dump the dry pasta in the water as soon as it's boiling, put the lid on the pot and turn off the burner. The pasta always cooks perfectly al dente in the hot water, with no risk of overcooking.
I just love and appreciate how you make your videos into chapters. This helps so much when I want to go back make one of your recipes. I'm not there having to go back and forth in the video I can go straight to the recipe I am making. You are so kind and thoughtful. This entire video is going to our dinner menu next week. I appreciate these so much! I cooked for our family of eight for years. Now that kids are gone and it's just two of us I still have a tendency to make huge amounts of everything. These smaller casseroles that provide some leftovers (hello freezer) are perfect!
I am going to try all of them, and 3 in this week alone. My Mom will love the chicken and rice and my husband will love the sausage and hash browns. I have told you before, I eagerly await this video as I do my grocery shopping on Sunday. I add things to my list as I watch the video. You have helped me so much and I can't thank you enough!!♥️

Julia you’re my hero. I’ve been wanting to learn how to cook delicious meals, but so many cooking channels are intimidating. I just made the Pizza Pasta Bake. I’m amazed!! I cooked something delicious. I also made the Fiesta Chicken. It’s so flavorful. Can’t wait to try something else!!!
Loved the pizza bake! I made it with mushrooms instead of pepperoni, and substituted the water for chicken stock. Wish I’d have a few whole basil leaves at the time but it was perfect!
That sounds amazing, Melissa! I’m so happy to hear that you enjoyed your version of this recipe. Thank you so much for sharing that and have a great rest of your weekend🙌🏼💜

Hi Julia, thank you so much for the easy ideas. I tried the Pizza Pasta, but I used what I had, taco cheese and instead of pepperoni, I added 1 cup of taco beef that I had prepared a day before. I also added garlic powder. I cooked for 35 minutes. Then topped with mozzarella cheese for another 15 minutes in the oven. It came our really good. Thank you, have a great day. Maria from CT

Arrrrgh!!!! 😁 LOL I want to make ALL of these, Julia. In Minnesota, we call these kinds of dishes, “hot dishes.” 😊 I think I’ll try the Fiesta Chicken one first. The Dump & Go Casseroles are my favorite series from your channel! Especially the ones that don't require pre-cooking anything else including the pasta! They are sooo great for saving dinner on busy night! Pizza Pasta was a huge hit! We'd love to see more casserole recipes. We don't usually use a slow cooker or Instant Pot due to texture of the food, so the oven recipes are GREAT!!

Wow, more recipes for busy work weeks. Thanks, Julia! 😁❤️🍽️ A side salad (easy pre-bagged/boxed salad greens and precut vegetables as needed) would be great with any of these casseroles! 😁❤️🍽️🥗
Did you do it with or without the cheese soup? I want to try that one but I wasn't sure about the cheese soup cause then it felt like a lot of soup overall.

Love your videos. My grandma taught me to cook. She told me to always fill the jar or can up to the top with water than shake or stir it. She was very mindful of waste. She was raised during the depression. She would have had my hide if there was anything left in a container. 😉
I also love her sweet videos but remember being taught the same way...get every last drop, add every piece of veggie/cheese/ect and scrape the bowls clean with a rubber spatula. Every bit counted during that time, everything was used/repurposed almost nothing went to waste :-) what a gift we had being blessed with grandma's who spent time with us in the kitchen. Some of my fondest childhood memories ❤️

Love all of them I already make the last one . I like the fact that I can put the dry pasta in and bake, I haven’t tried that before I will differently try that.

Great recipes! I will try the hash brown one. I like that they use normal easy to find ingredients. My one suggestion would be to try and sneak some veggies into them!
Most of the recipes in this video could be cooked on top of the stove, combined and finished in either the oven (10 minutes) to melt the cheese, or in the microwave to cook or melt the cheese. Taste might be slightly different but they will still be good if you would rather not use your oven.
Airfryer? I’m cooking for 2 most of the time so my portions are smaller but in theairfryer you use less energy and time no matter the portion size. Use a metal dish instead of earthen ware if youuse the oven. It saves time and you can go lower on the temp.
@@noeraldinkabam good point about metal vs ceramic! I've been thinking of getting an air fryer, do most oven dishes work well in the air fryer! And there things that should be changed for air fryer recipes?

@@JuliaPacheco I LOVE casseroles! So I was really happy to find your channel, today. Replying here because I liked what teenytiny tompkins said about "Mid-west Mom." 😂 (even tho I am quite older than both of you!)
I partially grew up mid-west but still don't have all the best mid-west recipes. So you can be my mid-west niece with the great recipes. 😀💞
Also to say, loving the recipes and your presentation and instructions...
But let's talk about your ceramic casserole dishes!!! Gorgeous. I am jealoussss. 😁
How about a video on those?-- or link or reference I can find if you did it already? (I looked but not far.)
Thanks, Julia! You're great. Keep DOING IT. 💞
She does it again !!!! Thank you Julia for this video. The country sausage and hashbrown is dinner tonight at my place. You ideas are really wonderful and taste so good. Your videos are so easy to follow. One of the best parts is most times I have all the ingredients already. I really appreciate all you do.
Well thank you so very much! I sure do appreciate your positive comment and feedback. It means a lot to me! Thank you so much for watching and I hope you enjoy these meals
For real, that sausage & hash brown casserole has my entire family just humming with pleasure. Thank you so much for your great ideas.
Wow! That is amazing feedback, Amanda. Thank you so much for sharing that and thank you so very much for watching. Have a great rest of your weekend💜💜
That is just awesome to hear, Shauna! I’m so happy that you found some recipes that both your mom and her husband would like this week. You’re always so positive and I really do appreciate that! Thanks so much for watching💜💜💜
Yep my boys are gonna be happy this week again! 😍😍😍❤️❤️❤️😘😘😘
Ha ha! Well thank you so very much, Monica. I sure hope they are! Have a wonderful rest of your week and thank you for watching💜
Great recipes, I look forward to these videos on Sunday, gives me great ideas for the coming week. Wow, Macie is 5 months already, time really flies by, our granddaughter will be 7 weeks old on Wednesday, so yeah time goes by quickly. Thanks for all the time that you put into your videos Julia to bring us great meals. Have a great Sunday and a great week,! Happy Fall!
I am so happy to hear that, Ginger! I hope that everyone enjoys these recipes in your home. And thank you so much for your positive words about our Macie girl! Time flies too fast with babies for sure. She’s so cute! Thank you so much for watching and I sure do appreciate your loyal support💜💜
I love the visual of adding strawberries to the Hash Brown casserole. Great idea!
I love that you always have easy & simple recipes. So convenient and no fuss. Pizza pasta bake & country sausage hashbrown casserole looks amazing!!!
Thank you so very much, Joyce! I sure do appreciate that positive comment. That helps so much! And thank you so much for watching💜💜
As a retired bachelor, I enjoy your delicious easy-to-make recipes. Your recipes remind me of my college days when I'd make one big dish (e.g., turkey) to last me for several days during final exam week. I'm looking forward to making all five in the next few months. Again, thank you very much!!!
Well thank you so very much for that positive feedback! And congratulations on being a retired bachelor. I hope you’re able to use some of these recipes and I definitely can see how they would remind you of your college days. Definitely is that way! Thank you so much for watching🙌🏼
My dad is a retired Marine and widowed so her meals definitely helped my dad out too!
That sausage and hash brown casserole looks delicious. I'm going to try it tomorrow. I know my husband will love it.
That’s awesome, Lynda! I hope you both enjoy it💜💜
Honestly thank you these type of casseroles would be perfect for my church get togethers when we have the ladies group especially now in the ber months. Or even just to make quick after work on a cold night. Again Julia thank you!
That’s awesome to hear, Ella! I hope these recipes go over well at your church gatherings and I sure do appreciate you watching💜💜
The Meatball Casserole was a big hit with my family. We will add this to our regular rotation and we will be trying more of these recipes. Thanks!!
That’s awesome! Thank you so much for sharing your positive feedback about that meal and I really do appreciate you watching too🙌🏼
We’re still suffering with 100° temps but I’m here for ALL of these amazing dishes.
Saving em for cooler day. ❤️❤️
I feel like my daughter would love that pizza pasta casserole too! I’m definitely going to have to try that out. Love these casserole recipe ideas Julia!

My family loves a good pizza pasta bake! I also love dump and go meals. They make things so much easier.
Loved every one! They all look so good. Thanks for the easy peasy casserole ideas, Julia and have a blessed week! xoxo
And thank you so very much, Aimee! You’re always so positive and I really appreciate that. Thank you so much for watching and I hope you enjoy these meals💜💜
Wow, Maria! That does sound good. Thank you so much for sharing that with me. And I sure do appreciate you watching all the way from Connecticut💜💜
Can’t wait until it cools down where I live so I can make some of these. I think the meatball casserole will be the first. They all look great! Thanks for sharing these with us.
Sis, I’m not even waiting. 😅😅 I literally have every single ingredient on hand and this week’s meal prep is including two of these casseroles.

That is awesome, Brenda! I sure hope you enjoy that meat ball casserole. It’s definitely tasty and super easy to make. Thank you so much for watching💜💜
I tried this Chicken & Rice Casserole recipe tonight, substituting boneless thighs for chicken breasts. I added 10-15 minutes extra time for the thighs and checked them with my meat thermometer and they were at 175, nicely done. Everything came out great and I've got ready-made lunches for work this week. Thanks very much for the recipe!
I bet that turned out amazing with chicken thighs! So much more moisture in the recipe and flavor too! Thank you so very much for sharing that and I’m so happy to hear that you have leftovers for the week😉🙌🏼🙌🏼
I absolutely LOVE your bear and beehive salt and pepper shakers! Lol I can't wait to try the sausage and potato casserole! And I look forward to what is to come.
Thank you so very much, Alicia! I have that salt and pepper shaker linked in my description box if you’re interested. Ha ha! I just thought they were so cute and the others had broken so I got them. I hope you enjoy these recipes and have a great rest of your week💜💜

I haven’t tried any of your recipes yet but I’m totally going to make some of these this weekend for my family. Thank you so much. You have no idea how much I appreciate your help. Happy sunday. Congratulations on four years.
Arrrrgh!!!! 😁 LOL I want to make ALL of these, Julia. In Minnesota, we call these kinds of dishes, “hot dishes.” 😊 I think I’ll try the Fiesta Chicken one first. Since I’m a Crock Pot addict, I’m going to live on the edge & try cooking it in one of my Crock Pots. I hope you feel better soon. God Bless & have a great day!
Ha ha! Well that is an awesome problem to have. I hope you enjoy all of these recipes and you have some good hot dishes for the next couple of weeks. Thank you so very much for being one of my loyal Minnesota viewers💜💜
I just made the fiesta chicken. I bet it would do great in the crockpot. It is so delicious. I am so glad I doubled the recipe.
@@sheristamps6722 Thanks!! I hope to make it soon.
I knew I should have watched this after dinner. Your videos always make me hungry. I love casseroles. I love to make and eat them. My husband isn’t as big a fan. But I know he would eat all of these. I’m going to add some things to our grocery list so we can have one of them really soon. Now I just have to decide which one to make first. Maybe the sausage and potatoes. I love potatoes made that way.
Thank you for all that you do! I will be trying all of these and my oldest daughter is a senior this year and gonna be on her own soon and I’ve been sending her the links to your videos and writing them down in a notebook to give to her after she graduates. 🥰
Oh! That is so awesome! What a nice gift for your daughter. That is a really good idea. Thank you so much for watching and I appreciate your positive words💜💜

I love your recipes Julia! So many have become family favorites. I'm making the Chicken fiesta one tonight. We just made the Fiesta Chicken Casserole and we doubled the recipe. It is out of this world delicious! I am not kidding. We are in love with this and so happy we doubled the recipe. The rice cooked perfectly. The flavors are spot on. Can’t wait to try another recipe soon. Thank you so much for sharing your yummy recipes with us!
Thank you so very much for all of that wonderful feedback. I really do appreciate it! I’m happy to hear that you enjoy my jump and go recipe so much and I have made more casserole recipes before. If you go to my website juliapacheco.com he will find some of them there. Thank you so much for watching🙌🏼
Just came back from a weeks vacation. Headed to store to get items to make all of these! Amazing!!!!

Wow, more recipes for busy work weeks. Thanks, Julia! 😁❤️🍽️ A side salad (easy pre-bagged/boxed salad greens and precut vegetables as needed) would be great with any of these casseroles! 😁❤️🍽️🥗
MORE great dishes to pass! Thanks, Julia!
I'm making the chicken and rice casserole for dinner tonight. I will report back after dinner to let ya know how it goes.
Edit: This was delicious!
That’s awesome, Terri! I’m so happy to hear that! Thank you so much for your update and I hope you have a great rest of your weekend💜
Did you do it with or without the cheese soup? I want to try that one but I wasn't sure about the cheese soup cause then it felt like a lot of soup overall.

I am glad I found this video before going grocery shopping. I am going to need to add to my list and try all these casseroles. Thank you!!!
Absolutely, Debra! I sure appreciate you sharing that tip. Thanks so much for watching and I hope you enjoy these recipes😉🙌🏼🙌🏼

Love all of them I already make the last one . I like the fact that I can put the dry pasta in and bake, I haven’t tried that before I will differently try that.
It’s a pretty awesome way to do pasta! I love it that way. Thanks so much for watching!💜
Dump N Go! Who doesn't love them! And the fact that you can meal prep them, freeze them, double them up in size for large families or gatherings, makes them more appealing! Oh, did I mention they're very economical too? 😊(Side note; I love all your beautiful casserole dishes)

Well that is just awesome, Sara! I sure hope you enjoy making these recipes with your girls. That is the best! Thanks so much for watching💜💜
I ate this and I had to Go & Dump.
Great recipes! I will try the hash brown one. I like that they use normal easy to find ingredients. My one suggestion would be to try and sneak some veggies into them!
It would be interesting to see other dump and go recipes that are cooked in a more energy efficient way. Oven cooking takes alot of energy!
Most of the recipes in this video could be cooked on top of the stove, combined and finished in either the oven (10 minutes) to melt the cheese, or in the microwave to cook or melt the cheese. Taste might be slightly different but they will still be good if you would rather not use your oven.
Maybe use a crockpot and then broil the cheese for 3-5 min. At the end
Airfryer? I’m cooking for 2 most of the time so my portions are smaller but in theairfryer you use less energy and time no matter the portion size. Use a metal dish instead of earthen ware if youuse the oven. It saves time and you can go lower on the temp.
🙄
@@noeraldinkabam good point about metal vs ceramic! I've been thinking of getting an air fryer, do most oven dishes work well in the air fryer! And there things that should be changed for air fryer recipes?
I'm a simple woman.
I see a new Julia video, I click
