I've driven some nice gti cars in my years and the peugot 206, despite many people dissing them (but also many championing) is a good drive.. Ok some of the gearing can be clunky (or graty) and first to second hasn't much scope, 2nd gear is rapid, 3rd is progressive, 4th has a long run and 5th might not be as versatile as other 5 speeds.. The gearing can still be dynamic. A little bouncy over 60mph surely that's the fun. Power steering may not be the lightest of touches but I don't notice much over or under stear, if inclined to go there id hasten on over at the minutest..assisted breaking keeps the car steady when bringing speed down even at the sharpest pedal push without waving off to the left or right. The clutch is very forgiving and allows half push changing which speeds up gear changes massively. There's no sponge to the accelerator. It is responsive. A nice full instrument panel keeps u informed. Now because the 2ltr injection engine is crammed into the front of this little frame the noises that come out of the exhaust are harmonious. A deep bom bom sound that is wholly evident as revs decline, it has a deep gutteral tone to it. Anyone who complains of the power in this car either hasn't driven one or is just a hater for sakes of. The car near wheelies when pushed. U certainly feel the front lift when given some and it remains in a straight line regardless. A joy to drive, these are no bumper car dynamics.. Its a superbly engineered ride for its price range and is still capable of 26-30 mpg if driven sensibly. If u want a bit of fun, this peugot range is for you.
In the evo 2 the bonnet was different. Interior isn't accurate aswell, there is no ring shifter... Maybe something went wrong during the restoration process. It looks more like an evo 1 than an evo 2
loved the 206 wrc bloody nut mobile
I ❤ 206

Yes this is 1999 season gear shifter.
This is an EVO 1 not 2
...i thing its a 1999 sequential Handshift Car, with a 2002 bodypaint... the 2002 had a shiftring inside steering wheel
Evo 2 have the paddle shift
dommage j'aurais voulu entendre la montée en régime de l'intérieur, on passe trop vite d'une vue à une autre
Evo 2 had canards on the rear wing
4wd ?
Ofc, it's a WRC car
😍😍😍😍
Evo 2 had pad on steering wheel
