    Your bypass valve is in the wrong place. Move it to the other side of the intercooler. This should solve the surging and funky a/f ratio. The air is tumbling at the MAF, not allowing for a good reading. By moving the bypass valve the intercooler will smooth out the air flow and allow for a clean read. Had the same issue with mine.

      I had a similar issue running draw through setup. I was getting turbulence and compressor surge with the CX racing 3” intercooler. Ran everything the way it should as there isn’t another way it could go and still had issues. Finally went blow-through and got a slot style mass air and Tail BOV. Works great.

      Does this only apply to this centrifugal supercharger? I have a roush super charged mustang GT 3v and it's doing that same surging and funky a/f ratio

      @@fernandop937 typically yes. But start by checking the lines on the boost actuator and bypass solenoid, try googling it and you'll see what I'm talking about. If that all looks good check the back of the supercharger. I've seen hoses pop off or dry rot and cause the same issues. If there's a disconnect hose it'll make a hissing sound. If all that looks ok, I'd look into replacing the MAF or talk to who ever tuned the car. Good luck!

      Yea, about $10,000 above what it is worth. Also nobody wants a car that has been beat up with video proof, has sketchy air suspension that has already failed, a super charger that he bought used and has no idea what shape its in, alone with all the ricer mods. Would be lucky to get even $6-$7000 for it.

    Told you boosting your car isnt as easy as youtubers make it seem. Having a daily definitely helps I learned the hard way as well. Hope you solve the issue. I'm glad you posted for awareness so other people can see the struggles of boosting.

    Hey Brother i just picked up a 2003 Mach1 actually looks just like your the stance is awesome and she's very Low like you'rs was gonna go Pro charger but decided to go Turbo because of the internals i also have a 2004 TERMINATOR 725 Horsepower but I'm having so much fun with this Mach1 so my question is why did you decide to go Procharger ? My people here in New York at Traxx Performance who are Mustang Masters suggest going Turbo do to Heat and Lag The superchargers go through i alsi Lived in Florida with my TERMINATOR and the Heat was just Horrible for the TERMINATOR.. Living in Texas wouldn't going Turb have been better for you as we'll just asking again just learning about the Mach1 and learning about Turbo being a supercharger guy for 18 years ?

    Sounds like a fuel pump problem in the sense that it can’t keep up with new amount of air your pushing through the motor. I would suggest you invest into a stronger fuel pump or go all out and do twin pumps if you already haven’t. Anytime you boost any vehicle the demand for fuel to the match air pressure (psi) rises greatly. This is same reason diesel owner run lift pumps to get richer fuel and power when swapping for bigger turbo(s).

    Just be super careful with slicks and the power you are running if you decide to go to the strip. The rear axles are weak and will snap with hard launches. Just trying to to help.

    When expectations don’t meet reality you get discouraged. I was watching your videos and have a good idea of what’s going on. Your mass air meter is the main problem. You need a slot style MAF. Next would be checking your bypass valve. You have a basically stock car, it should run like stock. I have a 2001 Bullitt Mustang with a Vortech, front mount air to air intercooler, slot style MAF, bypass valve right after the blower and it runs and drives like stock. I’ve enjoyed your videos and wish you the best.

      @@b3dazzl3MAF is after bypass and before engine. The MAF should be in about the stock location. The order is blower, bypass, intercooler (if you have one) then MAF. The MAF needs to read non turbulent air going to the motor.

    I know the supercharger thing is cool and all but based off of what I’ve read and heard... if you don’t set these things up right you won’t feel much of a gain vs n2o/turbo... brace the crank, cog setup, F1A on a built motor that should be fun.

    Dude the esr r02 rims look so so so good. I own a 2016 scat pack shaker and want to put them on. I know you usually don’t see challenger scat packs with them but I believe the machine 19” rims will look amazing staggered. You seem to have good taste so if you don’t mind what do you think. I have black stock wheels now with air ride. My car is steel metallic. Where did you get yours and what size and price. Thank you so much and only if you have time.

      Boost will not kill the mach 1 engine at his power level. Detonation and too high of rpm will. He keeps it below 7000 rpm and keeps the tune good he will be fine.

      A2 9S not for long. After 80k miles his motor will eventually go out. His car can take it now but also let’s not forget it’s almost a 20 year old car. Once the mileage goes up it’s over.

      @@Bendejo6517 that can be said about any modded car. There are many factors but in reality my original comment stands. It may die tomorrow but it won't be because the engine can't handle it. There are plenty of guys our there that were in tune with their mach 1 that put well over 100000 on with boost or nitrous. It how you mantain and take care of it. My brothers termi has made 567 whp and has 130000 on the clock (modded since 45000 miles). My mach 1 has lived 5 years with a 75hp shot and make 390 whp without nos.

    I'm getting out of new edge stuff. Bought a 14 gt fixed it last year. Just repaired a 2017gt350 so im selling my mod motor stuff. I have a Ford racing cammer 5.0 race engine. Little over a 1000 miles broken in . Over 15500$ new to you 7500 firm. What comes with a cammer 5.0. First of all its 420 hp out of the box not 305 hp . Fr 500 intake, heads and cams.of course springs It lopes at a idle. 11.to 1 compression H beam rods with forged pistons & crankshaft the block by it self is 3500$ to 4500$ got a lot of new edge stuff. Hit me up. Look at my Instagram the engine is in my black cobra convertible. This convertible could be a TH-cam car all buy it self. Hit me up later.

    Had the same issue at low rpm. I had a BOV installed at the time. It was surging the air ratio because of the vent to atmospheric blow off valve. Sounded cool, but the air was not circulating. Its supercharged. I took the BOV off. Remapped, and dyno'd. Runs smooth as a kitten as low as 300rpm. I am running 420hp 420 Torque. 480 crank. It is safe, and it is fun. You can even eat cobras with gears tranny the whole shabang. And I got the whole shabang. It takes money. Take your time.

    Not sure where the maf is mounted currently but if it is mounted in the side of the intercooler it’s needs to be moved. Moving the maf to the charge pipe closer to the throttle body will give you a cleaner signal to be able to adjust air/fuel.

      Yup needs to be about 1'-1.5' from the throttle body to get the best ready and the bov has to be after that to not surge also have to have a slot style blow thru MAF sensor

    You have close to 550hp at the crank . you have to take into account 15% parasitic loss through the driveshaft.

    Be careful hitting revlimiter on stock internals you'll bend a rod faster than you can blink trust me I know I just had to rebuild a buddies procharged mach1 with forged rotating assembly bc he hit rev limiter to hard

Ran everything the way it should as there isn’t another way it could go and still had issues. Finally went blow-through and got a slot style mass air and Tail BOV. Works great. On my channel I have a video that shows my set-up.

    If your car is running like crap don't do any pulls. The AFR is off and can cause detonation and bye bye sbe

    I drive an 01 gt mustang and had the same problem, I believe it’s the head gaskets because I fixed that and it’s been good ever since

    I got the same problem but I think it’s just cuz you let off the clutch to quick .

      They all do it if you dont get the clutch right, in my gt when I goof and it starts that shit I just give it a little throttle and it smooths out. definitely do need that MAF problem fixed though.

    Ok so I'm not sure if this even matters but my 01 v6 does the back and forth shit too.... Like it consistently does it in 1st gear.... I know it's not my driving because I've never had the issue with it before... It basically just started.

    Biggest thing is to make sure it’s getting adequate fuel and has a safe tune by someone reputable. Nobody ever talks about it in the differences between Machs and Cobra, but I upgraded my Mach 1 fuel tank to a cobras with the dual pump and better baffling. My tuner has a safe tune, made 440 rwhp. Zero issues.
