It's funny you say that because I had a lot of issues with how it was rebalanced. For instance, each class no longer provides unique bonuses to their troops, they get a flat percentage stat increase based solely on the tier of the class. It used to be that for instance wizards gave lots of attack and fighters gave more defense. Also, since they removed troop interactions on the battlefield, there is no advantage to using a fast knight to hit a wizard before their damage goes off. I'm also just not a big fan of the mobile game Fire Emblem Heroes style they used for the sprites.

PCエンジンCD-ROM２版と言う最高の教科書があるのにこの駄レンジか。
あれを聞いた後にコレを聞いたら言っている意味が良くわかるよ。
一見、音の印象が派手になった様に聞こえるが、実は同時発生音数と隠し味的な音色が無かったりｗ
（今のアレンジャーは知らないのだろうけど元のFM音源＋PSG音源で鳴らしていた分のPSG音源パートを
ご丁寧にPCエンジンでは隠し味音色的（PSG音源ではないよ、生音源でね）使い方で鳴らしている。昔からのファンなら知っているはずだよコレ）
原曲が良いからそれに助けられている感もあるね。PS4版と同時に出ていた中華版スマホ ラングリッサーの方が
本家に近い印象のBGMになっている。
結論！やはり、あの当時のメサイヤは凄い！
